Alisha’s POV
I knew this night couldn’t be more perfect than it already was, I was finally Joel’s wife and in my hear t I knew that from now on things were going to be perfect and our lives together were going to be perfect.
As he finished the song, he spun me around and when I landed back in his arms, we kissed, it literally was a fairytale come to life, that was how I had always pictured my wedding and he made my dreams come true.
Josh then got on the microphone again and called out all the couples onto the dance floor,
Once everyone was on the dance floor, I tried to sneak off with Joel, but Mandy grabbed my hand and made me stay with her. Once me and Joel started dancing again she continued with Carey, but I watched her closely, her eyes remained on Brian the whole time, this night wasn’t going to end well for both of them.
Things just couldn’t be simple for us all, either the tabloids were spreading rumors or we were all fighting with each other, I had tried to keep the peace, but sometimes my effort wasn’t enough.
Joel pulled my face up to look at him. “Penny for your thoughts?”
I smiled sincerely. “I was just thinking about us all, Mandy and Brian specifically.”
He sighed. “Don’t worry about them Babe. Things are going to be fine. We are going to go to Hawaii and when we get back things will still be fine. You need to stop worrying. I think they can all last a week without you.”
Carey’s POV
Having Mandy in my arms tonight seemed so surreal to me, I never thought that we would be together again, lately I had been thinking of our future together and tonight made me realize that she is the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with, somehow fate put us back together and I wasn’t going to let her get away.
“Hey Mands.”
She looked up, “Yeah?”
“Do you see a future with us? I mean in 20 years do you think we will still be together?”
She looked confused. “What brought this on Care? Is this still about Brian?”
I shook my head, I was finally over the fact that she would be spending so much time with him, I trusted her and I knew that she loved me, although we had made a lot of mistakes in our past, I knew that we had learned from that and I wasn’t about to start another fight about Brian and ruin our night.
“It’s not about Brian, I just want to know if you are serious about us, I mean I am.”
She smiled. “Of course I am serious Carey. I love you.”
Mandy’s POV
He smiled at my response and pulled me in for a kiss. I wasn’t lying, I loved Carey, I loved him so much, but I didn’t know if that love was enough to pull me away from Brian, what me and Brian had was love, but I still wasn’t sure who I was in love with.
I glanced over at Brian and Jessica, he was laughing with her and what I imagined were sweet nothings whispered into her ear as she blushed, I couldn’t help but wonder if he had already told her he loved her.
Lately my thoughts had been surrounded around Brian and I couldn’t control it or get it off my chest, the only person that I would be able to confide this to would have been Tal, but of course I had ruined that too.
I continued to dance with Carey and tried to focus my mind on him, he was the right one for me, and he was the one that I needed in my life.
Val’s POV
The rest of the night was spent dancing, we sent The Madden’s off on their honeymoon around midnight, me and Matt would be watching Robin while they were gone, it was an exciting evening and I was glad to have been a part of it.
Paul’s POV
Me, Billy, Deano and the girls all stayed at Joel’s house to clean up, Benj and Alex had gone to pick up the car at the airport and I was sure that tonight had been one of the most successful nights we had ever had.
Jimmy’s POV
Leana and I had gone home right after Joel and Alisha left, Lee was already 6 months and I couldn’t believe that I was about to be a dad.
The wedding was probably the best thing to ever happen to Alisha and I couldn’t be happier for her, I think we pretty much all felt that way.
Zacky’s POV
I walked over to Gena and Lacey.
“Hey you girls, you ready to go?” I put my arm around her and smiled.
“Yeah babe, we just need to get Johnny he passed out by the bar.” I started laughing and pulled my phone out, we walked over to Johnny and sure enough he was passed out with a bottle of Jack Daniels in his hand.
“I guess he partied a little too hard.” I laughed and took a picture of him.
Lacey went and shook him awake, he started to mumble God knows what, but she just helped him off the ground and tried to control her laughter. I put one arm around him and Lacey led us to the car. He was sure going to be feeling this tomorrow.
Brian’s POV
I drove back to my condo with Jess and things just seemed so normal and easy with her, but there was no fireworks, no spark. I didn’t know what to do, she was the perfect girl for me, but there was just something that didn’t let it feel right and in the back of my mind there was Mandy and I knew that she was going to be there always no matter what I tried to do.
Jess grabbed my hand and we stayed that way in silence, it was a comfortable silence, but it wasn’t what I wanted.
I sat there thinking about the nights when me and Mandy would drive home this late at night, we would put on Metallica and sing along as loud as we could. We were best friends and we were in love, but now she was in love with Carey and I had to learn to let go and love someone else.
Alisha’s POV
We pulled up to the airport and left the keys with the valet for Benj and Alex. I was still in my wedding dress, because I didn’t want the night to end, but I had to change because I couldn’t fly wearing this.
I was happy to finally be able to get away with Joel and be on our own for a little while, but I was also a little nervous and sad. This was the first time I would be away from Robin for more than a night.
I knew that she would be safe with Matt and Val, but I was still going to miss my little girl.
We walked up to get our tickets and the lady smiled at us.
“Name please.”
I smiled back. “Alisha and Joel Madden.”
She typed something into the computer and handed us 2 tickets. “Here you go Mr. and Mrs. Madden. Congratulations!”
Mandy’s POV
I had finally gotten home and was ready to go to bed, when Carey stopped me from going upstairs.
He got down on one knee.
Oh God. Oh God. Oh God.
He wasn’t about to propose, was he?
He grabbed my hands and looked at me.
“Mandy, I know that this might be sudden, we have only been together for a couple months, but we were also high school sweethearts, I know everything about you and you know everything about me. I am completely and utterly in love with you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I know that you are the only one for me. Mandy Sawyer, will you do me the honor of being my wife?”
