Val’s POV

The next morning we woke up to an inch of snow. I was kinda excited because that never happens in California.

Matt came into the room with the biggest grin on his face.

“What are you so smiley about?” I laughed.

“I thought maybe we could go for a walk?”

“In the snow?”

He nodded. “Ali said you can borrow some of her snow gear and I can just borrow some stuff from Carey.”

“Carey?” I asked skeptically.

“Yeah. I guess he’s alright.”

I sat there thinking. “What aren’t you telling me Matthew?”

He turned away from me. “What are you talking about?”

“You’re hiding something. Look at me.”

He turned back around to face me. “Brian and Mandy are back together. I think?”

“You think?! Why didn’t you tell me?! Do Alisha and Tal know?!”

He shook his head repeatedly and covered up my mouth. “Val keep it down! You can’t say anything. No one knows it happened last night.”

I was glad that Mandy had found a way to forgive Brian, but I knew in the back of my mind that Michelle wasn’t going to let this go, she had always wanted Brian back and she would do anything to be with him.

I heard movement down stairs, so me and Matt decided to join everybody.

“Pass the damn bacon Johnny!” Jimmy was yelling from across the table. As usual Alisha and Tal were the ones making breakfast for everyone.

I noticed the sadness in her eyes this morning; I had to talk to her later when she was away from everyone.

Jimmy’s POV

After I had won the plate of bacon from Johnny, I started taking pictures of Baby Robin with food all over her face laughing. I was going to send them to Joel later, even if I didn’t completely understand their whole situation I knew that he missed Alisha and Robin and would do anything to have them back in his life.

Joel’s POV

Another day in the studio, I couldn’t stop thinking about my family and every single day it was harder to try and record these songs. I had finally gotten ‘There She Goes’ ready for the record and now it was time to record ‘Can’t Dream Without You’ I had written this song for Robin the same night that Alisha was inspired to draw again.

“Hey bro. You ready?” I nodded at Benji and tried to sing, but the words wouldn’t come out as hard as I tried.

No matter what I did, I couldn’t get the lyrics out.

“When you close your eyes and go to sleep tonight…”

I looked out the window to see Benji trying to encourage me to go on.

“I’ll be right outside your door. Dreams will come and they’ll take you away…”

He started smiling and for a second I thought I could do it. Until I heard my phone go off. I ran out of the booth hoping that it was Alisha or someone that could tell me how they were doing.

It was 3 pictures from Jimmy. I opened them to see my baby girl happy and smiling, that’s when I lost it.

I couldn’t be without her anymore. I jumped in my car with Billy and Benji running after me.
