Matt’s POV

“So were you able to fix things with Val before we had to leave?” Jimmy asked coming to sit by me on the bus.

I shook my head. “With everything that happened with Brian and Michelle it just didn’t seem like the right time. We said our goodbyes and if she’s not back home when we get back I am going to Italy.”

He smiled. “That’s great dude, but what are we going to do about him?” He pointed over to Brian who was talking to Zacky.

“I don’t know, we’re all pissed about what he did, well maybe except for Zacky. Do you know what that’s about?” I asked him.

He nodded. “When Lee called last night she filled me in on what’s been going on over there. I guess Mandy broke up with Brian because she wanted to be with Carey. Joel let it slip to Zacky and well you know the rest.” I sat there feeling like an idiot for not giving my best friend the benefit of the doubt. I guessed that Jimmy read my mind because he started to shake his head.

“There’s no reason to be pissed at Mands. She broke up with Bri before she did anything, this one is all on him. He doesn’t know about Care though. Leana made me promise her to let Mandy tell him.” I nodded understandingly.

“Does Mandy know about him cheating with Mich?”

He shook his head. “I don’t think so, if she did the break up wouldn’t have been as peaceful as it was.”

I nodded, “That’s true. Let’s just get through this tour and figure all this shit out when we get home.”

Mandy’s POV

I had finished packing most of Brian’s things and left them in the garage for Papa Gates to pick up.

Carey would be here soon to put our plan into motion.  I was determined to help Benji get Alex back and he was going to help whether he liked it or not.

“Hey babe.” Carey walked inside and handed me a Rockstar. “I figured you were going to need the extra boost for your master plan.” He laughed.

I grabbed it and walked into the living room to finish packing.

He looked around at all the boxes. “Mands are you sure that you want to move to Arizona?”

“Yes. It’s not like I can never come back to Arizona. I talked to Joel and he agreed to let Robin spend weekends with us and I can come back whenever, I am keeping the house. Most of this stuff is Brian’s anyway, his dad is picking everything up later today.” I responded.

“I just don’t want you to have any regrets.”

I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him, “My only regret was leaving you.”

He smiled. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” He kissed me and started to help me carry some boxes to the door.

I couldn’t say it wasn’t awkward, every so often he would come across a picture of me and Brian and I was holding back tears when I packed away one of his guitars or came across an old record that we would always listen to, but this is how things had to be, I wasn’t happy with Brian anymore and I knew that Carey was the one that would always hold my heart,

After all of Brian’s stuff was packed away he headed to Benji’s house, while I waited for Papa Gates.

About twenty minutes later I heard the doorbell.

I opened the door and gave him a hug. “Hi.”

He looked at me sympathetically. “So it’s really over?”
