Alisha’s POV

I was sitting at the bar waiting for Joel so we could give our speeches when a guy with too much eyeliner and his black hair standing up all over the place approached me.

“Hey beautiful, can I buy you a drink?”

I smirked, ready to deny his offer when I felt an arm around me.

“Careful Jacoby, before you almost tell her you love her.”

Jacoby?! Oh my God! I looked the guy standing in front of me over again and that’s when it hit me, this was Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach! And he just tried to buy me a drink!

Joel started laughing and Jacoby soon joined in.

“Hey Jo!” He walked around me and they greeted each other properly.

Joel smiled. “You know you just tried hitting on my wife.”

He stopped and looked me over. “Damn dude. This is Alisha?!”

I nodded.

“Well, all I gotta say is Joel is a lucky lucky man.”

I smiled, kissed Joel and walked away letting them catch up. I went and found Alex on the dance floor. I pulled her away from Benji and told her what had just happened. She started laughing so hard and practically begged me to take her to meet him.

We both always found ourselves ending up Star struck at the end of any Avenged/GC event because of the guests that would arrive. It had been years and you would think by now we were used to it, but it always happened, especially when someone like Jacoby walks in like it’s the most normal thing for him to be here, and to them it was.

Mandy had been a part of this life a lot longer than I had because of Brian and she was used to it. Matt Tuck could walk in right now and she would greet him just like any other random guest. I on the other hand would probably completely freak out.

Brian’s POV

I took off walking from the wedding to try and clear my head. I tried calling Jess, but it seemed like she was ignoring my calls. When she left town, I didn’t even get a goodbye, just a brief text saying something about a fashion show in New York, I didn’t know if I should have been worried or not.

I ended up at a park that looked sort of abandoned, then I remembered this was the place that me and Mandy would go to when we just wanted to get away from everyone whenever we were here in LA.

I couldn’t take it here anymore; it was too much for me. I called a cab and ended up at my dad’s front door.  It had started to rain and I was now soaking wet.

McKenna, my little sister opened the door and when she saw the state I was in, she yelled for my dad.

She helped me into the living room and my dad walked in with my step mom Suzy.

She gasped. “Oh my God Brian.” She then ran upstairs to get some towels and me some clothes I imagined. I didn’t think I looked that bad, but I if I looked as bad as I felt then I knew why I had freaked them out.

I was pretty sure that I was over Mandy, until I saw her happy in a wedding dress married to a guy that wasn’t me, I kinda lost it.

Joel’s POV

It was time for me and Alisha to give our speeches. At first I wasn’t exactly sure what to say because I had always thought that Mandy would end up with Brian not Carey, for a moment there I even thought she was going to end up with Tal, but this was her decision and Carey was my friend long before Brian, so I was going to be happy for them and wish them the best no matter what.
