A few weeks later it was time for the Hogsmeade trip. Jacob, Ron and Hermione got to go because they had permission. Harry because of his terrible Aunt and Uncle was not allowed to go.

The moment they got to Hogsmeade, Ron and Linda started hanging which left Jacob and Hermione alone.

"Hey Hermione, let's go check out Honeyduke's. I heard they have some of the best candy in the Wizarding World" Jacob suggested.

"Ok Jacob" Hermione said as they both went into the shop together.

Jacob had picked out quite a few peices of candy and paid fir them while Hermione paid for hers.
She noticed the amount of candy Jacob had purchased and giggled a little bit.

"Try not to get a stomachache Jacob" Hermione teased.

"They're not all for me you prat" Jacob laughed. "I bought some for Harry. I didn't want him to miss out more than he has too"

"That's so sweet of you" Hermione said.

"Yeah well, he's my god brother. It's kind of my job to look after him" Jacob said.

Jacob and Hermione strolled through the village together. Jacob then saw Ron and Linda sitting on a bench together while talking to each other.

"What's going on with them?" Jacob asked.

"I don't know" Hermione said "Rumor has it that Ron fancies Linda"

"Oh he does, does he?" Jacob said with a mischievous grin. Hermione noticed and playfully smacked his arm.

"Leave them alone Jacob" Hermione said.

"I didn't say anything Mione" Jacob said.

"I know what you were thinking" Hermione said as the both laughed.

Later the two of them went to he Three Broomsticks and ordered a couple of Butterbeers.

"I had a really great time with you Mione" Jacob said taking a sip of his Butterbeer.

"Me too Jacob, it was really fun being here with just you" Hermione said "I'm just sad we never got a chance to see the Shrieking Shack"

"We'll see it next time we come here" Jacob said "It'll be the first thing we do I promise"

"Sounds good Jacob" Hermione said take a sip of her Butterbeer leave a foam mustache.

Jacob couldn't help but laugh when he saw Hermione with the foam mustache.

"What's so funny?" Hermione asked.

"You got foam on your upper lip" Jacob chuckled as Hermione looked at her upper lip. "Here I'll get it"

Jacob got a napkin and wiped the foam off Hermione making her blush a little. They then looked into each other's eyes and it felt like time had stopped all around them. They leaned in closer, their lips only centimeters apart until.........

"Hey you you two!"

The two turned and saw Ron and Linda approaching their table.

"Oh, we weren't interrupting you two were we?" Linda asked.

"No..... Of course" Jacob said blushing.

"We were just......talking" Hermione said also blushing.

Later, Jacob, Ron and Hermione had returned with the other students to Hogwarts and met up with Harry on their way to the Common Room.

"Honeyduke's Sweet Shop is brilliant" Ron said "But nothing beats Zonko's Joke Shop"
