Harry had told Jacob that in order to figure out the egg he would have to take a bath in the Prefect's on the fifth floor.
Jacob and Hermione made their way to and entered the bathroom.
"What did Harry mean by use the bathroom to figure out the egg?" Hermione asked.
"I don't know love, all he said was to take a bath in here and you'll figure out the rest." Jacob said "I just hope he knows what he's talking about"
Jacob then changed into his swim trunks which made Hermione blush as she yelped and covered her eyes.
"Hermione, what are you doing?" Jacob chuckled.
"Nothing" She said peeking through her hand. "I've just...... never seen you without your shirt"
"You don't like what you see?" Jacob said in a teasing tone.
"No...... I mean yes! I mean I-mmff" Hermione said just because Jacob kissed her to calm her down. They then broke away and looked at each other.
"You're so cute when your nervous" Jacob said as he leaned and whispered in her ear. "If this relationship works out as well as it has for far in the future, then maybe you'll be seeing me without my shirt a lot more often"
"Jacob!" Hermione squealed as she blushed heavily then playfully smacked his chest while he laughed. "Y-you need to s-stop and focus on the egg right now"
"Ok Mione" Jacob said as he got in the water.
For a few minutes Jacob looked at his egg and then looked at water. Just then an idea was forming in his head.
"I wonder....." Jacob said.
"What is it my love?" Hermione asked.
"I'm gonna try something, just bare with me ok?" Jacob said.
He then grabbed the egg, took a deep breath and put his head underwater. He then opened the egg and heard singing.

Jacob then emerged from the water as he took a few deep breaths.
"Did you figure it out?" Hermione asked.
"Yeah I did" Jacob said "They egg only works under water. I heard a woman singing"
"Singing?" Hermione asked.
"Yeah, the voice said 'Come seek us where our voices sound. We cannot sing above the ground. An hour long you'll have to look. To recover what we took'" Jacob said. He then looked at the window and saw a mermaid on it.
