13 - Back to the Present

Present time

"Earth to Y/N, are you there?" Kylee snaps her fingers in front of your face. When you start blinking, she grabs her phone that was still in your hands. 

"Let me guess, you remember him now don't you?" She said as she looks at the picture on her phone. "I have to admit, he is hot and too fucking good looking. Just like your taste in men. So who is he? How did the two of you meet?"

You move sluggishly as you take the mug of your coffee and finished the entire content with one drink. You suddenly have a craving for alcohol at this time of day as all thoughts about Yoongi comes back to you.

"Y/N, oh my gosh, what's wrong with you? Whos this Agust D?" 

Kylee interrupts your thoughts as she sees your face. Your annoyance that you've been holding back since you walked down the stairs, surfaced in full swing. 

"Yoongi! He's Min Yoongi! Fucking happy now? I've completely lost my patience because you're driving me nuts. Like ugghh." You screech as your bury your face into your hands. 

Your twin looks at you with her mouth hanging open. She's never seen you like this in a long time. You've managed to control your temper years ago. She doesn't get offended by your words either, she's used to it. But it's also because of what you just revealed to her.

Yoongi, the very reason you've studied and worked like a lunatic when you got back from your summer break in South Korea. The very reason you refused to date anyone your entire college life. The very reason you refused to speak with your father for years. She's never met Yoongi or have seen his picture because you wouldn't show her one. She managed to see his picture from Elin. She remembers that he is good looking but she just didn't make that connection until now.

Kylee approaches you and touched your shoulder. She draws her hand back when you start laughing. 

"Y/N, you're scaring me. What's happening to you?" She asks you as she takes a tentative step back.

You look at your twin and you continue to laugh. "He fucking made it. That jerk actually made it." It slowly dawns on you that he's reached his dream and you're honestly happy for him. All of your past hurts caused by him were temporarily forgotten as the idea that he is making a world tour concert, hits you. Honestly, you have no idea how big he is now because you stopped listening to k-pop after he dropped out of your life. But based on what your sister told you about him, he obviously made it big.

"So Yoongi, and Agust D are the same person?" Kylee asks you.

"Yes, apparently they are." You grab your own phone and start to google him. His face pops up in a variety of poses along with his achievements, awards, sold out albums and concert tours. Collaborations with big artists both in Korea and overseas. Your eyes scans his pictures with women although there's nothing that said about the women he dated. You're curious, though you don't care anymore.

"Maybe if you talk to Elin more often, you would have known about this too much earlier." Kylee tells you. 

In order for you to completely heal from Yoongi, you had to stay away from everything that reminded you of him. That included your cousin. It's not fair, you realize that later on, but you just had to because the impact Yoongi had on you was so great. The weeks you've spent with him took you years to completely forget. You started communicating back with Elin when you were about to graduate from college. You warned her before hand not to mention anything about Yoongi. So you don't really know what happened to him. Sadly, you have no updates about Hoseok too. All you know is that he and your cousin are still together, although they did have a period of break up.
