MY Yesterday and Forever

26 - Soundcheck

You made your way backstage, and you were told to sit on one of the chairs. You remove the jacket you were wearing, and Kyoung-Mi takes a portable fan and places it in front of you. You politely decline and told her you are fine, but the other lady insists. 

Hyeri hovers close to you too. "At least your normal color is back." She said.

"I'm ok Kyoung-Mi, I don't want people to think something's wrong with me. Seriously, it's just the jacket. I'm feeling better now." You tell the other lady who nods her head and moves away from you. 

Yoongi is still busy talking with the choreographer and the dancers. You notice that Mina was doing her best to stand close next to him. 

"Hmmph, there she goes again." Hyeri whispers.

"Sshhh, someone might hear you." Kyoung-Mi tells her. She moves closer to you though and whispers. "That girl wouldn't stop bugging Yoongi. She's been in his room asking to take pictures and wants to chit-chat with him even if she knows that's against the rules. Yoongi feels bad for her that he told us not to tell David because she will get fired. I'm telling you, if she bothers him again, I will tell." 

"But what if Yoongi likes her too? Maybe he wants her to be there." You argue as you remember the picture that she was showing her friends.

Yeo-Jin laughs. "I seriously doubt that. He never lets us leave when she's there. If he likes her then he's going to ask us to leave just like with..." She stops and covers her mouth. 

"If you're going to say, Kitty, don't worry I know that too, I saw it personally remember?" You answer with a smile. "I did see Mi-Na earlier bragging about a picture she has with Yoongi."

"The one where they were standing in front of the mirror? Didn't you see us in the background?" Yeo-Jin asked.

You didn't really see it because you just had a glimpse of it. Now that you think about it, you know that Yoongi was standing behind her but you're not sure if his arms were around her waist. "I didn't get to see the picture that long because I saw it while I was walking behind them. I thought his arms were around her."

Yeo-Jin giggles. "Not a chance." She pulls out her phone. "Whenever there are women like Mi-Na who tries to get too close when they're taking pictures with Yoongi, we always make it a point that we get a shot of the same picture too. It's just to make sure that should that girl try to make up some weird story about him, we have proof that'll show otherwise."

It makes sense you tell yourself as you look at the picture that Yeo-Jin took. It's the very same one she was showing her friends. You get to see it clearer now; Yoongi was standing behind her, but his hands were not anywhere near her. You can also see the three women in the background. Ok, so you got annoyed for nothing. Erase that thought, nope, you don't feel anything over the fact that Yoongi likes another woman. Yoongi already explained his side about Kitty, but his staff thinks otherwise. But who would you believe more right? You seriously should stop thinking about anything at all about Yoongi and other women. 

Yoongi starts to walk towards his dressing room with David next to him. He doesn't look your way, but the three women next to you start to follow him because they need to get back to work.   

Lunch was provided for the staff and after that, everyone became busy. You decide to change your clothes to a more comfortable one for the night as well. You also decide to put on a little more makeup than you usually do and styled your hair differently. You're satisfied with your look, so you sit at the lounge backstage. There's a huge tv hanging on the wall that shows the activities outside, being covered by a channel on youtube. When you arrived this morning, there were already fans gathered outside. Soundcheck will be done in an hour, you need to be around just in case you are needed. Again, you feel excited to see the concert tonight. You're sure it'll be a blast.
