43 - Keep on Going

 Your tears did not end at the airport in New York, but they continued when you got back home, and you shared to your sister about what happened. You declined Dylan's offer to pick you up at the airport for obvious reasons. Another bouquet of flowers from him welcomed you at home and another one came the next day. You took the rest of the week off which your boss approves immediately. He owes you a big favor. 

Kyoung-Mi sent you a message to tell you that they miss you. She mentions that a male interpreter was hired for the leg of the trip. She doesn't mention anything about Yoongi. 

You're a bit worried about his health. He lacks sleep and still refused to get one after his concert because it was your last night together. He was pushing it to the limit. You recall how he looked when he was having a hard time breathing, that night. You don't think you can handle it if he gets sick because of you. 

It made you realize that you both made the right decision to go separate ways. You'd be more of a distraction and a liability for him. Should his fans find out about you, they might not be supportive of your relationship, and it will affect his career. You can't do that to him, he worked so hard to get to where he is. 

Your desperation to learn about how he is led you to follow Agust D on his social media accounts using a dummy name. You click on a suggested clip on YouTube, which was of him at the airport when he left New York. He had a pair of sunglasses on, a cap, and he's wearing the shirt you borrowed when he snapped your photo the last time you were together. That spoke a lot to you, and you felt your throat tightening as you start missing him again. No matter how much you push it away, thoughts of him creep back into your mind.

You decide to make a stand with your decision in choosing to be with Dylan, and you start picking up the pieces of your life although it feels like there's a hollow spot in your heart that cannot be filled no matter what you do. You've chosen to keep on going as always. 

 You finally met with Dylan, and you talked about everything that happened in New York. He apologized to you, and you find yourself doing the same thing. Both of you decide to take things slower, so you do not go beyond kissing. You start to realize that it feels different for you now no matter how hard you try to remember the times you enjoyed kissing him. You told yourself this might just be a phase that you're going through after meeting the guy you first loved again. Dylan opens up the subject of your wedding. He promised you that you'll start planning for it as soon as he finalizes the apartment he'll be getting in New York. He'd be flying back there again by the weekend.

Your Aunt Beth surprised you when she called to let you know that she and Zack will be driving to LA. She learned from Kylee that you took the rest of the week off. If you didn't know any better, your twin already has tattled about what happened between you and Yoongi.

You start to get ready because you knew your aunt would be arriving within the hour. You and your sister have connecting bathrooms and since you're not used to locking her side of the door, you went on with your business as usual. 

You were bent down rinsing your mouth just as you finished brushing your teeth when you were grabbed by your waist and got pulled into someone's hard chest. Looking at the mirror, you see the guy who's holding you was naked from the waist up, he's got tattoos on his arm and his face is covered by his long wavy, black hair. He nuzzles your neck, which made you grab the first thing you can reach, your hairbrush. You used it to hit the guy's head. He grunts but you barely hit him since he was able to dodge away. He's got very fast reflexes.

You let out a loud scream and you start cursing at him when he grabs your wrist to stop you from hitting him. He's very strong, which isn't surprising because he is well-toned, and even though he's got a perfect body, it still doesn't erase the fact that he's an unknown pervert who managed to get into your house. You've heard of break-ins in your neighborhood, but you never expected it will happen to you. It is a weekday and most of your neighbors are at work so should anything happen, no one would hear or find out until your twin comes home.
