22- Circles

The next day you feel you're just about set to do anything. Dylan finally calls you, which is the reason why you got up earlier than expected. He apologized because his phone couldn't be reached the previous night. He told you how his previous night went, he interviewed an entrepreneur from the city whose restaurant business was an instant hit when it opened, and he said he literally cleaned his plate on every dish that got served to him. He kept on praising how good the food was and he even promised to take you there the next time you visit. You also share with him what happened at the press conference, withholding the part that Yoongi went to your place and that you had a talk. 

You've always been honest and open with Dylan, but you feel that you just have to keep this part untold. He knows you had an ex in Korea, but he never asked for his name. Yoongi is a celebrity now and you can't just go around announcing to people that you had a thing in the past. You will tell him one day but not now when you are still working with him. For some reason, you're also scared to tell him.  

 You managed to catch your sister who was getting ready to leave. She's later than usual too. She said she's allowed to start late after extending her work hours the previous night. You personally have seen how hard she worked. She tells you that Yoongi's team will be using the same room they used for the press conference for their rehearsals. Kylee had someone in charge to help out Yoongi's group until she arrives. She complains about the busy schedule she has for the whole day again, but you can tell she doesn't really hate it the way she makes it sound.

You arrive at the hotel early, so you decide to drop by a popular coffee shop just a block away. There were a lot of people in there, but you manage to find a spot to drink your hot caramel macchiato. Although you already know the planned schedule for the day, you go ahead and check on it anyway. Everyone will be in rehearsals for the next three hours. You're supposed to come in before Kitty and her team come in to practice that one song they'll be singing together. 

You recognize the song playing in the background was one of Yoongi's. Then you hear the conversation that the girls at the next table were having. You realize the reason why the place is full is that Yoongi and Kitty's fans were in there. You silently pray they don't recognize you. It happened more than once, fans recognize you as the interpreter for their favorite celebrity and you get bombarded with questions nonstop.

Seriously, I think they make a great couple don't you guys think so too? Someone asked. 

I don't know, I don't think he's perfect for her. She's been into too many scandals with other men. I was hoping he'd be with a sweet-looking girl from one of those girl groups or maybe an actress. Another one interjected.

Well, I don't want Agust D to be with any girl. He's mine so he better have his eyes just on me.

The girls start laughing. You can't help but hold back your smile too. It's not that hard to tell that they were talking about Kitty and Yoongi.

I'm serious guys. Like when he came up to me last night to give me that heart drawing, I know it's a sign. We made eye contact guys like it's a good three seconds, I felt the electricity flow in my body. That was just his eyes I wonder what it'll feel like to have his arms around me, oh god, I can just die.

The girls giggle. You try your best not to turn behind you. So that other girl talking was the one Yoongi approached last night. The one who gave a marriage proposal to him, you can still picture her in your mind. As you have observed last night, he does have that kind of effect on women whenever he stares into their eyes. You didn't mean to listen to other people's conversation, but you can't help it when they were talking way too loud. 

The girl's last statement gave you a mental picture of the times you were with him eight years ago. His arm around you, and his lips traveling all over your body pleasing you until you succumb in rapture. You take a quick sip of your hot drink and burned your tongue in the process. Serves you right, you tell yourself, for having those thoughts in your head.
