There were so many questions that went inside your head but the first thing you managed to ask your aunt was. "How is he?"
"He sounds sad just like you. He apologized so many times for making you cry after he guaranteed me the last time we spoke that he won't do that ever again. He asked me the same question too, he wanted to know how you are. Why can't the two of you just talk in the first place?" Aunt Beth reached out and wiped the tears from your eyes.
"I can't, not yet at least. I honestly want to fix things between me and Dylan first."
Aunt Beth studies your face. "You shouldn't be running away from your feelings Y/N." She remarks.
"I'm not running away from anything." You sometimes find yourself asking the same thing if you're too scared to face reality. You've always been brave and honest but when it concerns Yoongi, you hide back inside your shell.
"Tell me again the reason why you're marrying Dylan. If you tell me that you're still in love with him, I will not say anything more. But if you're just going to say that you feel obligated to marry him because you've promised him and yet your heart is not into it, then I will have to tell you not to go through with your plans. Marriage doesn't work that way. Being married because of love isn't always easy as it is, let alone being married out of guilt or duty. I am telling you this because I don't want to see you live in regret. That's why I drove all the way here to talk to you about it." Aunt Beth used to work as a counselor so giving advice is her forte.
You stay silent as you contemplated everything. The lack of feelings that you have for Dylan when you are with him, you thought were just side effects after having been with Yoongi. That is why you decided to continue with your engagement, you want to give your engagement a chance. You mention that to your aunt, and she stays silent as she continues to study you.
"If you believe that your feelings for Dylan might come back in time then it's up to you. I've never pushed you or your sister to do things that were against your will since you were young. I've always let you have your freedom so you can learn from your mistakes. But this is something different, you shouldn't be realizing your mistake after you got married. So please give it a deep and serious thought." Aunt Beth advised you before she gives you a tight hug.
"I will, Auntie, thank you." You sniff as she holds you, making you feel you're back in junior high and she's consoling you over some petty problem you used to have back then. You will be forever grateful to her for what she had done for you and your sister.
"Now, where is your sister and this JK, they're next." Aunt Beth sighs as she gives your back one last tap and she gives you a wide smile. "Both of your tastes in men is out of this world." She shakes her head in amazement.

Dylan was leaving for New York, so he asked you to spend the afternoon with him at his house a day before he left. You prepared lunch because he said he missed your cooking. Everything in his place is modern and fancy, looking as if it's been staged for a photoshoot. Whenever you're there, you're constantly worried that you might mess up or break something. He loves to keep his place spick and span, so you try not to touch anything.
Both of you were on his white leather couch after lunch, you're watching a series that he's following on Netflix. His arm was around you and you rest your head against his shoulder in silence. You're trying to give your relationship another chance, so you push the thoughts of Yoongi away and you bring your old self back. He starts brushing your arm which is how he'd start an intimate move. You turn to him, and he kisses your lips. You respond to his kiss, opening your mouth for his tongue to caress yours.
