Angie's eyes flutter open as the sun flickers across her cheeks.

"Good morning, beautiful." Steve greets her, pressing a kiss to her bare chest.

"Good morning." Angie moans, stretching across the bed.

He can't help but smirk at her reaction, getting exactly what he was searching for, "How'd you sleep?" He questions, continuing to peck down her body.

"Good," she bites her lip to contain herself, "I was tired."

"I bet you were."

...

"So," Steve begins, "What's the plan for today?"

Angie smiles, "I have to get back home and you have to work." She points playfully.

He sighs, slamming his head on the pillow, "I was really hoping you were gonna tell me to stay."

She grins, leaning over Steve. He places a soft hand in her hair, sweeping her wild curls back behind her ear.

"You have no idea how much I would love to stay in bed all...day...with you." She pecks slowly across his neck as he groans, "But we both know that we can't do that."

"I know," Steve admits in defeat.

"But..." Angie continues, lifting the mood, "If you're lucky, I'll make a stop at Family Video later today."

"Oh yeah?" Steve leans in close.

"Yeah," She smirks, pressing her lips to his, "And I might even rent a movie for our date later."

"Really?"

Angie nods.

"I think that's a great idea." He pecks her lips once more, allowing her to rise from the bed.

"I'll see you later." Angie smiles, placing her shirt over her head.

"Yes, I will," Steve responds softly, grabbing his uniform from the chair.

Angie grabs her bike from Steve's garage, taking her blissful ride home. Steve always tries to insist that she should let him drive her everywhere, but she hates that idea. She'd ridden her bike around Hawkins since she could remember, and she had come up to enjoy it.

She began to soak it in, closing her eyes as her hair blew softly behind her. Life was finally starting to feel normal. No monsters were chasing after them. There were no stupid high school bullies breaking into her house. Life was good-- unnervingly good.

At least it was... until Angie spotted a line of cop cars racing to get into the trailer park. That could never be good.

She speeds up, moving from a subtle stroll to a life-altering race. Her heart only dropa more when she notices Uncle Wayne pacing outside their front door. He looks absolutely terrified.

Angie gulps down her tears as she throws her bike into the gravel, "Uncle Wayne!" She shouts for him as an officer encases her.

"Ma'am," he begins, "you can't be here."

"What do you mean?" Angie scrambles free from his arms, "This is my house!"

He gives the new Sheriff a look, asking for permission to move forward. Chief Powell nods, allowing her to pass through.

She sprints to her uncle, giving him a rare hug, "What happened? Where's Eddie?"

Officer Callahan speaks up from behind her, "We were hoping you could tell us that."
