Max raises the cerebro from the coffee table, "If we go to East Hawkins, will this reach Pennhurst?"

"Yeah, of course." Dustin shrugs.

"Why are we talking about East Hawkins?" Steve questions as the others look to him. In an instant, he realizes what they're insinuating, "No. No. No!"

Max snatches her backpack and heads for the door. The others move to follow her as Steve continues to protest.

"Max, Max. Seriously." He calls, "Seriously, I'm not joking. I'm not driving you anywhere."

"Steve, if you think I'm going to spend what is likely the last day of my life in the armpit that is Mike Wheeler's basement, then you're out of your mind. So either take me where I need to go or you're gonna have to tie me down, which is technically kidnapping of a minor. And if I live to see another day, Steve, I swear to God, I will prosecute." She walks up to the door, yanking on it, "Open the door."

He scoffs, "Uh, no."

"I know a good lawyer."

Steve turns to Angie, "Help me out here." he begs.

She pulls him to the side, away from listening ears, "Why are you so against leaving?"

"You do realize Vecna is after her, right?" He points as Max tries to listen in.

"You do realize that keeping her hostage in Mike's basement isn't gonna save her, right?" Angie whispers, "If Vecna really wants her, he'll take her regardless of where she is."

He shakes his head, placing his hands on his hips.

"If it were me, would you keep me locked up on what very well could be the last day of my life?"

"Yes," he replies without hesitation, but her expression makes him hesitate, "Probably-- maybe." Steve sighs, knowing he's been beat, "Henderson," he turns, "that super walkie of yours better reach Pennhurst."

Angie grins sympathetically at his flustered state and gives his hand a reassuring squeeze.

The others look at them with content smiles despite the harsh situation. Because of Steve and Angie, they knew they could get through anything. Everything was gonna be alright.

When they approach the trailer park, Angie takes a deep breath as she spots her trailer. Her home.

The car pulls to a stop.

Steve sighs, "This better be fast, Mayfield."

"Twenty seconds," she replies, exiting the car.

He turns to Dustin, gesturing to the cerebro, "That things got batteries in it, right?"

"I'm not even answering that question," he mumbles from the backseat.

When Dustin spots his expression, he scoffs, "Yes, it has batteries in it."

"Yeah, I got that,"

Steve looks at Angie, noticing her lack of response at the two's bickering. Her gaze is fixed across the road as she recalls all of the happy memories she had in that house.

The countless movie nights she had with Eddie.

When Uncle Wayne would come home and make her the mac and cheese with hotdogs that she'd always ask for.

All of the times her and Eddie got drunk and gave each other tattoos-- when he surprised her with a tattoo of her initials.

Her heart aches as her gaze shifts to the one on her thigh: A&E Always.
