The First Premiere of Many

Morning of the premiere...

It's so busy this morning. Scarlett and I have been given a single hour to get breakfast from the hotel restaurant, when all I want to do is go down to the quayside and sit on the Millennium Bridge.

We're sat eating breakfast with our managers and PA's.

Ollie (my manager): So Y/N we have hair and makeup etcetera until 3, then you guys will get ready together just so wardrobe can make sure everything matches up with you two. After that the car picks us up at 4.
Me: Yeah, I got it. Are my family here yet? Perrie and that?
Adam (my PA): Let me give the guys a call upstairs to see if they came early this morning.
Alison (Scarlett's manager): So Scarlett you're basically the same, but you have makeup till 2:30, just because we need to get your dress altered slightly.
Scarlett: Okay. But we go to the red carpet together though right?
Alison: Oh yeah, you think at an event like this people want to see you two arrive separately? Absolutely not, you're like the world's favourite couple at the minute.
Adam: Y/N, your Mum is here but they're crazy busy getting ready so she just said she'd see you in a bit, is that okay?
Me: Yeah of course, no problem.

A few moments after finishing our breakfast a couple of young girls come to the table with movie posters and wearing merch really hesitantly, followed by their mother.

Girl 1: Hi Y/N, we were wondering if it would be possible if we could get a picture please?

I'm hardly dressed for the occasion but at least my skin looks killer and I have my glasses on.

Me: Yeah of course guys, no problem at all!
The Mother: I'm really sorry to bother you all, I did say you'd be really busy but they really wanted to meet you.
Me: No of course, no worries! I think you guys picked the best time, do I have any ketchup on me? Tell the truth or the photo will look terrible!

The girls giggle to each other and shake their heads whilst their mother gets her phone out to take a photo.

Me: Okay, say... "Switch!"
The girls: "Switch!"

The photo is taken and they get one with Scarlett too.

Girl 2: Could you also sign these for us? We aren't allowed to go to the premiere tonight so if we get these signed now.
Me: Oh no, how come?
The Mother: It'll be a little too busy for them I think, it's already crazy busy out there now and it's not even lunchtime.
Me: Adam, is there anything we can do for these guys? It would seem like a shame for you to miss it just because you're not quite as tall as the older kids.
Adam: Yeah! We have a few VIPs left if you want?

The girls squeal with excitement as you and Scarlett sign their posters.

The Mother: Oh my god, thank you so, so much. You have no idea how excited they've been about this. Thank you, can I hug you?
Me: Yeah of course, I'm not an alien!

The mother and I hug, and the young girls hug me and Scarlett too.

Scarlett: It's going to be a little busy on the red carpet, not as busy as on the other side of the barrier, just so you know. If you guys talk to Adam over there he'll take some details and talk you through how the day goes okay? It was so nice to meet you guys.
Me: Yeah, so good to meet you, thank you!

The family head over to Adam to talk about the day.

Scarlett: You did a good thing there babe, did you see how excited they were? Honestly, how good you are with kids makes me so horny for more children.
Me: Then what are we waiting for?
Scarlett: Our career's to quieten down?
Me: Seems fair. Okay, I'm gonna go and start getting sorted but I'll see you in an hour or so?
Scarlett: Yeah sure, see you soon babe.
