Late October 2023, Dune Part 2 Paris Premiere...

It's been a few months since the man following us was arrested, he's since been charged with stalking and assault back in the UK.

Scarlett and I hit the red carpet with Rose, who ended up having a tiny cameo in the movie. After taking photos and signing things for fans I head over to the interview pen with Rose, Scarlett following behind.

Interviewer: Vous avez l'air incroyable ce soir! (You guys look amazing!)
Me: Merci beaucoup. Nous pensions nous coordonner un peu. (Ah, thank you so much. We thought we'd co-ordinate a little).
Interviewer: Ce film est donc un peu différent des films auxquels vous avez participé auparavant. Y avait-il quelque chose de spécial à propos de celui-ci? (So this movie is a little different from the movies you've been a part of previously. Was there anything special about this one?)
Me: J'ai tellement de chance de pouvoir faire ce travail. Nous avons filmé en juillet à Budapest avec Florence et Zendaya, nous avons probablement passé trop de temps assis au soleil au lieu de travailler. Mais non, c'était si spécial de passer du temps avec ma meilleure amie à Flo, et de pouvoir partager un set avec ma petite fille était un rêve devenu réalité, elle a été incroyable alors oui. Espérons que d'autres opportunités se présenteront. (I'm so lucky to be able to do this job. We filmed back in July in Budapest with Florence and Zendaya, we probably spent too long sitting in the sun instead of working. But no, it was so special to spend time with my best friend in Flo, and to be able to share a set with my little girl was a dream come true, she did amazing so yeah. Hopefully more opportunities will come).
Interviewer: Et Scarlett, comment était-ce de savoir que votre femme et votre fille feraient partie du même film?
Me: He's asking what it was like to see me and Rose in the same movie?
Scarlett: If I'm being honest, it wasn't something I really thought Rose would get into, but she's taken to it so well and really enjoys the work she's doing. She gets to choose everything she does and she's absolutely loving it! I'm genuinely so proud of them both for the movie, and maybe a little jealous, they sounded like they had so much fun together!
Me (translating): Pour être honnête, ce n'était pas quelque chose dans lequel je pensais vraiment que Rose se lancerait, mais elle s'y est si bien prise et aime vraiment le travail qu'elle fait. Elle peut choisir tout ce qu'elle fait et elle adore ça ! Je suis vraiment si fier d'eux deux pour le film, et peut-être un peu jaloux, ils avaient l'air de s'être tellement amusés ensemble!
Interviewer: Rose, comment était-ce de filmer avec ta mère?
Me: What was it like filming with me?
Rose: A lot of fun!
Me (translating): Beaucoup de plaisir!
Interviewer: Le feriez-vous à nouveau?
Me: Would you do it again?
Rose: I hope one day I can do it with both my Moms.
Me (translating): J'espère qu'un jour je pourrai le faire avec mes deux mamans.
Interviewer: Merci beaucoup.

Scarlett: You're even hotter when you speak French, you know that.
Me: Voudriez-vous que je parle français dans la chambre?
Scarlett: I have no idea what you just asked but I'm gonna say yes.
Rose: Something about French and bedroom, we learned those words in class last week.
Me: Okay, enough listening.
Rose: You guys are gross.
Me: También lo es tu actitud.
Rose: Is that Spanish now?
Me: I'll say it in Danish too if you want?
Rose: No thanks, something about my attitude it sounded like.
Scarlett: She said your attitude was gross too.
Rose: Stop embarrassing me, Mom.
Me: Oh god, we've created a diva. Stop her now.

Rose rolls her eyes and walks away.

Scarlett: What did you actually say?
Me: Would you like it if I spoke French in the bedroom?
Scarlett: Y/N! There are ears everywhere!
Me: You asked what I said!
Scarlett: Whatever, come on.

We follow her in to watch the movie. I stopped watching my movies after Marvel, but because it's Rose's first proper movie, she wanted to watch. We sit beside Florence and Hailee.

Me: Alright lovebirds?
Hailee: I hate you.
Me: Awh, you don't. I'm happy for you guys, honestly.
Florence: Why are you even here? You never watch the movie.
Me: It's Rose's first one, and Scarl wanted to watch it.
Rose: I hope it's good.
Florence: Anything with you in will be good, little one.
Hailee: Yeah, it's gonna be great Rose! I can't wait to see you in it!

Rose sits on Florence's knee for the whole movie, she really enjoyed it. The nanny picks Rose up after the movie so she can get ready to go to bed.

Scarlett: You sure you wanna stay out?
Me: Yeah of course, why wouldn't I?
Scarlett: People are going to be getting drunk, that's all.
Me: That's okay, I don't mind. I'm sure we'll still have fun. You can drink if you want, don't let me stop you.
Hailee: That sounds like an invitation.
Me: Just don't get her wasted, okay? I have to deal with that later.

They head over to the bar while I sit at our table with Zendaya and Tom.

Tom: Not drinking?
Me: Nah, I don't really drink too often.
Tom: I've just realised I actually don't think we've met yet! Tom, nice to meet you.

We hug.

Me: Y/N, you too.
Zendaya: Are you guys in Paris for long or just tonight?
Me: We're here for a few days. Rose has never been to Europe so she wanted to do all the touristy stuff so our security guy is taking her around while we're at fashion week. You?
Zendaya: We're at fashion week too! Which shows are you going to?
Me: So we're at Westwood, Hermes and Paco Rabanne on Friday. Then on Saturday we have Balenciaga, Beautiful People and Givenchy. Monday I think we have Chanel and Rick Owens.
Zendaya: I think we're at most of those too, we'll have to sit together.
Me: Yeah, for sure!
Tom: Lewis is going with you, right?
Zendaya: Yeah! I think so. I'm sure he's somewhere here.
Me: LH, right?
Zendaya: Yeah, I'm nearly certain he came tonight but I can't see him.

Just then, Lewis pops his head around Zendaya's shoulder.

Lewis: You looking for me?
Zendaya: You scared the shit outta me! Hi!

Scarlett, Hailee and Florence come back over as Zendaya and Tom greet Lewis.

Me: I feel like I haven't seen you in forever! How are you?

We hug tightly. He also hugs Scarlett.

Lewis: My god, I know! How are you both?
Scarlett: We're amazing, thanks! This is Florence by the way, and I think you've met Hailee.

They all greet each other and sit down.

Me: So you are killing it right now, my guy.
Lewis: It's gonna be tight I think, but hopefully better than 2021, right?
Me: Well we'll be at the next bunch of races with you guys I think. I think Toto invited us.
Lewis: No way! It'll be so good to have you guys there. I actually wanted to talk to you anyway Y/N. I wanted to know if you'd maybe thought about collaborating on something with me? Maybe something to do with getting young kids from tough backgrounds better opportunities both in motorsport and the film industry or something?
Me: Yeah mate, of course! Hook me up with that, I'm down.
Lewis: Amazing. Well look, you have my number, just call me and we'll work out a time to meet up between races or something. It was lovely to see you guys.

He gets up and leaves.

Florence: How do you even know him so well?
Me: His brother's girlfriend has been my PT since before I can remember. Nick came along one day to the session we had just to say hello, then I met Lewis at one of the first events I went to with Scarlett and we just hit it off straight away.
Hailee: You've come so far since the first Switch movie we did, you have no idea. You're like a total powerhouse now.
Me: What, and I wasn't then?
Hailee: Well, your house has definitely gotten bigger, that's for sure. It's gone from like a 2 bedroom apartment to a 10 bedroom show home in Beverly Hills.
Me: Yeah, that's because that's literally what happened. You don't get anywhere slacking, Steinfeld.
Florence: Oh, snap.
