Physio: Okay so if you lift your arm behind your head and touch the other shoulder.

I do as the physio asks with some pain.

Physio: That's good, a lot better than last month. And if you bring your arm across the front of your body.

I do that without issue.

Physio: Awesome, so it looks like your shoulder is pretty good. How are you feeling in general?
Me: Pr...pretty...c...c...crap.
Physio: You'll get there. So let's look at your hip. Can you bring your knee up to the sky and hold it?

I try, but he has to keep me up. I'm only able to get my knee halfway to where it should be.

Physio: It's coming back to you, you'll get there. That's a lot better than it was last month too. Okay so I'll be back next week and we'll see how much better it is then.

The physio leaves as Perrie and my Mam come in from outside. They've been staying with me to help with the kids while Scarlett is away this month.

Perrie: How was that?

I shake my head.

Me: A s...struggle.
Mam: You'll get there honey. Lila called today asking how you were, she said she was sorry they couldn't come and see you.

Lila and Bruno moved into my old apartment to get Tate's belongings sorted, they ended up staying there permanently. It said it made them feel closer to her.

I nodded at my Mam.

Mam: When you're ready to hear what happened we can tell you, you know.

I don't say anything, instead reaching for my water and taking my medication. I've totally blocked out that whole day. It ruined Christmas for everyone, the kids were gutted, Tate died, I nearly died, some random kid died. I don't wanna talk about it.

Early May 2024...

My speech came back pretty quickly after I got home, the doctors said it was from the trauma, but being at home and doing stuff all the time will have helped. I'm still on crutches, but I don't need them as much now.

I'm backstage at ComicCon. Scarlett is here to announce the first season of Romanoff on Disney+. We've arranged with Kevin and the team that I'm to surprise the fans by making my first public appearance since the crash. Not even the cast know I'm here.

Kevin: So without further ado, let's get the guys up on stage!

Kevin starts to announce the cast one by one and they come out on stage.

Kevin: So, the fierce Russian Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh! Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld! Penelope Archer played by Millie Bobby Brown! And here to reprise her role as the infamous Black Widow, THE Scarlett Y/L/N-Johansson!

The crowd goes crazy.

Kevin: We do have one more surprise for you guys however, and even the cast will be surprised by this one. Can everyone please make a huge cheer, for our very own Switch, Y/N get out here! Y/N Y/L/N-Johansson everyone!

I go on stage with my crutches and the crowd goes mental, some fans even crying. The cast stand and cheer, most having not seen me at all since the crash. I start crying a little bit from the support given, as Scarlett comes over to help me.

Scarlett: What are you doing here? This is a lot of work for you right now.
Me: C...Couldn't miss it.

We're all handed microphones.
