My head slightly bumped against the window as we drove down the road. The window in the passenger seat was down, allowing me to feel the slight breeze and smell the trees from outside.

"I think you're going to really like this family. They are...special, like you, so they understand your situation" The woman beside me said. A funny way to explain the trauma the hospital had put me through the week that I had been there.

When the man and woman walked in, they introduced themselves as people who work in the "ministry". Apparently what had given me away was making the power go in and out during a nightmare while I was asleep.

They asked me where I was from, why I sounded American, and who I worked for. When they figured I hadn't remembered a thing, they ordered a social worker to be assigned to my case. A special one, who had the same abilities as me.

So they sent my case worker, Louisa, to assign me home until they could find my parents.

The most I remembered was my name. From what I know about myself is what the doctors told me and my name. Someone had deceived that I couldn't have been older than fifteen but my body felt like it was older.

When asked how they had found me, The Doctors said that I was found lying in a street during the night, they had assumed from the scratches on my face, that I must've been hit by a car. Nothing else was figured out.

"We're here!" Louisa said happily. I sighed before slowly opening the door and letting myself out, staring at the large house and anxiously fiddling with the blue bracelet on my wrist.

"Come on then," Louisa said. Slowly, I made my way toward the house, observing the two-story home in front of me. It was quite beautiful. The house was baby blue with white trimmings and a garden could be seen wrapping from the side of the house towards the back. I swear I could even hear the rush of water behind the home.

Louisa was quick to rush me towards the door, despite having to pull me along with her. Hushed whispers were heard on the other side before the door opened to reveal two smiling faces staring back at us.

"Hello! You must be Louisa and you must be Marley." The woman said, smiling brightly. She held on tightly to her husband who had been looking at me as if I would explode any minute, a smile still clear on his face. But, I couldn't help but see an image of a man wearing a badge sitting in the same position.

They looked kind enough. Older, which meant they'd been longing for a child for some time. White traces of hair was found in their brunette locks and their eyes matched the water I had only read about in books.

"Come in, please." The woman said, the couple moved over so they could allow us to walk in. When we did, I instantly wanted to go back into the car. Dishes were washing themselves and I watched a broom sweep past my feet, stopping and turning as if to look at me before getting back to work.

"We'll have Bluey fetch your clothing.." The man said, turning and calling for the person's name. In the meantime, I made my way to a couch and sat down, smelling the cherry blossom candle that was burning on the stand beside me.

"We're so happy to have you. If you don't know, Matthew and I have been wanting a child of our own for quite some time." The woman replied, smiling at her husband lovingly. I didn't speak. I simply turned my head and watched a small creature emerge from the shadows, looking at me with a bright smile.

I cowered into Louisa behind me when I saw it, unable to process the logical explanation of what it could be.

"Oh, don't worry. That's just our house elf Bluey. She's been in our family for years." Matthew replied.

The next hour just consisted of Louisa filling them in about my situation. I was ignorant when it came to magic but Louisa was sure when I attended school that it would come back. The woman, whom I learned was Rebecca, had told me she taught Astronomy at Hogwarts while her husband worked in the "mystery" part of the ministry.

Louisa then informed them that, because I was fifteen, I would be starting my fifth year at Hogwarts. Then, I said my goodbyes to the woman who had been with me since I woke up, and watched her drive away from the living room window.

"That's a beautiful anklet," Rebecca said from behind me. I looked down at my ankle, moving it to see the charms dangling from the piece of jewelry.

"Where'd you get it?" She asked again. Voices filled my head, causing me to grow dizzy. I closed my eyes, begging them to stop and allow me some relief.

"I figured you could always have a part of me. I add a charm every time one of us almost died."

"I don't remember," I stated simply, grabbing my bag and moving past the innocent woman and toward my new room. When I got up there, my bags had already been brought up and laid neatly onto my bed.

The room was rather filled despite my new arrival. A large bed lay against the wall on the right side of the room, curtains hanging over it with lights embedded in the fabric. The current color of the lights was yellow. I crinkled my nose and looked towards the other side, seeing a door sitting next to a large mirror.

My legs brought me towards the decoration as I looked at my reflection once again. I no longer recognized myself. How does one look into the mirror and not remember who they're seeing? So I grabbed a small blanket that was placed at the end of the bed and draped it over the mirror.

Then, I went over to the window and saw that my suspicions had been right. There was a beach below me, the water splashing against it to make a sweet sound.

I wasn't ready for this new journey. How could I be when everything I knew was gone?

So like all of my stories, it's going to seem weird at first but most of the action and awesomeness is going to happen next year, this has been taking me a long time to figure out and there was a lot of planning ahead involved.

I know this is a short part but I'm finding it really hard to find a way to set her storyline off from here. Obviously with the stranger things story it was easy but just bare with me:)
