Yesterday's Lie

I was getting ready to see my mom again.

The last time she saw me,was when I was supposed to be in camp 4-5 months ago.

She is going to be pissed.

I am worried.

Luz was explaining portal stuff to Eda and King.

Eda started bicycling very fast.

The portal needed energy to start everything up.

We may have the titans blood,but we needed to activate it.

We got the blood from the key,which I broke two weeks ago.

That was the last I saw Hunter too.

That's not important right now.

What is,is trying to tell my mom I'm staying here,with Eda and everyone else.

I just can't leave her with no explanation,I love her too much for that.

She may be a terrible mom,but she had her moments of kindness,and she may have hated me,but she still cared.

I smile at the thought of my mom smiling the first time I got an A+.

I rush outside just as the portal opened.

Luz attached a rope to the both of us in case the portal closes.

It looked a little wonky and unstable,so we understood.

Luz jumped first.

I gave Eda a reassuring look before I did too.

It wasn't the Human realm,but we saw little blocks that let us see into the Human realm and Boiling Isles.

Luz experimented,while I looked at some random cubes.

I saw Amber,an old bully of Luz's get her hair messed up by the wind.

I chuckled at that.

She thought she heard me.

The blocks didn't just let us see stuff.

They let us go into the reflection of something.

Cool.

I saw Luz jump on Blocks too see her mother.

She tried to get Camila's attention.

I yell for Neela l/n's name.

Nothing pops up.

I get worried.

I think about trying to see Hunter and I say his name.

I see a block and blush.pushing the thing down.

I'm here to try and talk to my mother.Not spy on Hunter.

Come on teenage hormones.

Don't do me like this.

Luz suddenly yells that their are doppelgangers of us.

"WHAAAAT!??"I yell.

My mom isn't worried.

YESSSSSS!

I ask Luz to tell me my 'twins' name.

She talks to her 'twin'who tells us that she is Vee and my 'twin' is El,short for Eleven as she was one of the brought back basilisks.

(Makes me totally wonder who else we know is called Eleven?Hmmmmmmmm. ;))

I called out the name El.

A cube lit up near me and I got El's attention.
