"I've never realized you were studying botany Desume." Steve says looking at the jar of homage salve.

The woman crossed her legs and adjusted her glasses."Oh well I am a nurse Honey I know a thing or two."

Steve smiled and tucked it away in his satchel."Well im sure it will help thank you." Nodding she reached over to her side table.

Grabbing out a checklist. Squinting at it she bit her lip and grabbed a close by pencil."You sure you don't need another prescription Desume?"

The woman laughed and shook her head before writing something."No im fine, just forgot something is all."

Jotting down a note she looked at them."I don't have the best memory so I write things down so I won't forget."

Tucking the pencil in the drawer along with he notes she got up and dusted off her skirt."Well how about we go see a movie I saw one-"

She tapped her chin as she walked to her bedroom."Just yesterday with my friend Denise it was very pleasant!"

She yelled from her room not worrying about being lady like for a minute as she searched for the new dress she had just bought.

Bucky chuckled and looked over at Steve who also seemed amused. Just then she came out easily dolled up.

She wore a simple navy dress with matching shoes. Considering her curvy figure it didn't take much to draw attention to herself.

Of course she had a nice coat to tie it all together. Turning towards the mirror in the hall she adjusted her small ribbon.

It had a nurses sign on it just in case something happened she would be identified easily."Just today a poor little boy with polio came in."

She says with a sad look in her eyes."Worst case I've ever seen, he could barely walk and was only 10."

She started off turning around. Both of her soulmates looked at her. "Is that a new dress?" Bucky questioned.

She smiled and nodded."I got it yesterday after the movie, isn't it beautiful?" She questioned admiring the fabric.

Steve nodded even if he wanted to ask her about the boy with polio. "Yes it does look very good on you."

She flushed and turned away from the solider grabbing her purse."Thank you now we have to get going im sure there's plenty to see."

She says grinning as her two soul mates got up.

"It was so pretty, I think that if I were to go somewhere it would be far out into the country I miss the smell of flesh flowers."

She says as they walked out of the movie. Bucky looked down at her."You lived in the country?" Desume nodded as she took Steves hand.

"Way out in the south, I ended up in New York for nursing school and stayed here, but I do miss my Pa sometimes."

She says with a sigh before here eyes caught a flier on a street pole. A call sheet for nurses. Reading down the empty boxes she sighed.

"I hope your not thinking of going to war too." Steve says looking at her. Desume looked at the shorter man.

"Never im terrified of going to war, it's my worst nightmare." She muttered before looking at the people in front of her.

"Really? I figured since you didn't mind us going you would want to fight too." She shook her head."If I went in I could never wait for you to come home."
