I made plans with Ai again. We were supposed to meet by the shoe lockers but she's not here. Daisuke came by to say hello.

"What's up Y/n? Our class had a guest speaker in the Auditorium today, so.."

"Oh yeah you guys are both on the soccer team huh? Hey, isn't Ai Ebihara one of your managers?" One of the students behind Daisuke asked.

"Seriously!? Damn now I'm jealous."

"Ai Ebihara? Oh her, she's never around." Daisuke said.

"Heh, probably because she's always on the prowl for guys."

"Yeah I heard she's pretty loose, and doesn't she look like she's got a sugar daddy or two?"

"Yeah, she's stacking the paper."

"I wonder how much she gets paid?"

"Damn dude don't hold back or anything! You think it's a cheaper market out here in the boonies?"

"I don't know man, this is premium grade high school tail we're talking about, and with a body like that? Seriously, just her hips."

The conversation was getting more and more vulgar by the second.

"That's enough of that." I said.

Even Daisuke agreed.

"Knock it off you guys. Maybe someone should spread rumours about you and we'll see how you like it." Daisuke said.

"Alright alright! Aw shit, I'm gonna be late for the meeting!"

The other guys left.

"Sorry about that, sounds like they've got the hots for Ai. They were talking like that at practice too. But don't worry, I'll yet at them later, man. I'll see you later." Daisuke said.

He left, then Ai came around from behind a locker.

"Did you hear them?" I asked.

"They were practically yelling. It's not like, that kinda stuff bothers me. I expect it. They don't even know me, why should I care what they think? I'm fine, but thanks." She said.

I feel like I understand Ai even better now.

"I'm gonna head home, and you're gonna walk with me." She said.

I walked with her to her house, then went home.

I can work at the hospital today, I guess I should start that. Extra money won't hurt.

I cleaned the windows in the silent hallways. I could've sworn I just heard something from down the hall. I decided to pretend to not hear it and continue cleaning. After I finished cleaning I tried to continue going down the hallway. I saw a doctor and a nurse sitting down on a bench further down.

"W-what do you want? If your shift is over, then go home!" The doctor said

I can only hear bits and pieces of the conversation. The nurse walked up to me.

"Oh, were you listening? Oho, you're cute, you're the student who started working here today, right? I'll show you something fun the next time you're here. I'll see you again." She said, then walked away.

I got paid then went home.

I should check on Marie, I'll go to the Velvet Room and see what's happening.

When I got there, she wasn't there. It was just Margaret and Igor.

"If you're looking for Marie, I sent her on an errand, she should be back soon." Margaret said
