It's raining out, tonight's gonna be the night to check the Midnight Channel. Yu and I will spend some time with with the drama club. Yumi said she has somewhere she has to be, and that she'll drop by if she gets the chance.

Acting practice went by as usual, but without Yumi. Yu and I headed to the hospital. Yumi was standing in front of a door.

"You guys. I just came from dad's- that man's room." She said.

"How's your mom?" I asked.

"It was nothing, she's already out of the hospital. I was here anyway, I can here to pick up some medicine for mom, I just decided to stop by. He smiled at me, he looked at me like he was so happy. "Do you want to watch TV?" "If you want to read some manga go ahead and buy some." "Here's some money for ice cream." He's so stupid. Getting all excited, coughing, causing trouble for the doctors. He's so stupid. That man is not my father, I keep telling myself that over and over, and yet, I can't take it anymore. Why me, why me, why me!?" Yumi said.

"Excuse me, can you keep your voice down please?" A nurse said.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I just lost control for a moment. Why do I have to go through all this? Why me!?" She asked.

"You're not the only one." Yu said.

"So what if it's not just me? No one can understand what I'm going through! Oh, I have to go, I need to get this medicine to my mom. Um, I'm glad you came." She said.

Yu and I were able to provide emotional support.

We watched Yumi walk off sadly.

Evening.

Time to check the channel.

The TV turned on, it seems to be a girl, she's wearing a swimsuit. She looks somewhat like Rise Kujikawa, the idol I saw on TV yesterday. Uh, it's zooming in on her chest and thighs, it's hard to make out her face as a result.

I got a call from Yosuke.

"Hello!? Hey did you see that!? That was Rise for sure! Rise Kujikawa!" He said.

"You're right." I said.

"I thought so! Okay I guess I shouldn't be so excited, there's a chance she might get kidnapped. C'mon we should go there tomorrow? What was it called again? Oh yeah, Marukyu Tofu! Dude, my heart's pounding already. Well, see you tomorrow!" He said.

I went to bed after that.

After school.

I overheard other students talking.

"Hey did you hear? It looks like Rise Kujikawa really is here! You know the Tofu Stire Marukyu? The owners of that place have the same last name: Kujikawa!"

"Seriously!? Hey I practically live next door!"

The other students left.

"I've been hearing that there's a big crowd at Marukyu." Yukiko said.

"I'm not surprised, but was it really her on yesterday's Midnight Channel? Didn't she seem a little, different?" Chie asked.

"It was her no doubt about it, her curves, her posture, even her beautiful, slim legs!" Yosuke said.

"What's that look for?" Chie said with an annoyed like.

"Anyways I'm positive! Right!?" Yosuke asked

"Um, are we going? I don't really care about celebrities, but it's not like I got anything better to do, sure I'll tag along." Kanji said.
