Chapter 10

She wanted to be alone. She really do but somehow she felt sad sending Calcifer away. Matapos ang nakita niya anina walang pasabi niyang kinuha lahat ng gamit niya sa office at naglakad papuntang parking lot. Calcifer was obviously worried about her but she shoo him off. She was just shock not disgusted or anything.

Hindi niya lang alam kung ano dapat niyang gawin. Is she gonna congratulate them or say sorry? Is she obligated to say sorry for catching them in such an explicit scene?

Halos sabunutan niya ang sarili. Nag -alala siya tungkol doon pero mas nag -alala siya kay Calcifer. She push him off in a harsh way. Gusto niya itong tawagan kaso pinigilan niya ang sarili. This could be a good way to show Calcifer how indecisive she is. Ipapakita niya dito lahat ng masasama tungkol sa sarili niya.

Looking back, it was her biggest mistake. She hold every bad things about her. She's quite and peaceful, pero habang tumatagal. She get comfortable with him to show who she really is. How she deal with her emotions, how she bug him to be open and talk to her about their problems and feelings. How she express her boundaries.

Gillian mentioned a lot of things. Telling her that she change but she didn't. She just show who she really is. Lahat ng maganda pinakita niya dito, hindi nito nakita kung paano siya magalit, lahat.

It's better to show how bad you can be. In that way you'll know who really care for you. Proven and tested. Huminga siya ng malalim bago naglakad papunta sa kusina at kumuha ng ice cream. She's just gonna binge watch all her favorite cartoon movies. Akmang io-on niya na ang TV ng biglang may kumatok. She's not expecting anyone so she's alert.

Nang makarating siya sa pinto, she peek through the peeking hole. Doon niya nakita si Calcifer at may hawak itong mga plastic. She felt something inside her celebrate. Seeing him. Medyo hindi maganda ang pagpa-alis niya dito. Ayaw niya man aminin nalungkot siya. She open her door, wide enough to see her. Calcifer smiled happily seeing her.

"Darling!" He exclaim. "Andito lang ako para bigay to sayo." He hand her a plastic with a familiar logo. "I know you're still upset. Gusto ko lang ibigay saiyo." He playfully pinch her nose. "I'll go now. Just call me when you need me. Enjoy your weekend darling."

With that he pinch her nose one last time before walking towards the elevator, pero naka-harap sakaniya ang binata. He's smiling cheekily while waving his hand, hanggang sa maka-dating ito sa elevator at tuluyan na ito nawala sa paningin niya.

Calcifer excitement, somehow put a smile on her face. Akala niya nagtampo ito or hindi siya papansinin dahil sa ginawa niyang pag-taboy dito. Dahil doon kinabahan siya, but seeing him now. Mukhang naiitindihan nito kung bakit niya ito pinaalis pero mali ang rason na iniisip nito. Hindi niya alam pero parang gumaan ang dibdib niya dahil sa nangyari.

She look at the paper bag in her hand. Lahat ng ginagawa ni Calcifer ay nag- paparamdam sakaniya na appreciated siya. How funny. Nakilala niya lang ito ng ilang linggo but then he make her felt appreciated and calm. The fact that she felt calm around him is more than enough to waver her. Calcifer has been very patient and understanding toward her.

Always respecting her, always asking her permission or opinion.

All those simple and small gestures is affecting her. Making her want to do something that will surely ruin her. She sigh before looking down at the food. Unconsciously her eyes fell on her car keys before she knew it nagda-drive na siya papunta sa condo ni Calcifer. Ilang minuto lang itinagal ng byahe.
