Chapter 54

Quinn was walking back and forth, her white dress had a stain of blood. Nasa hospital siya hindi niya lang alam kung saan. It would be better kung nasa hospital sila ni Luxifer but in the midst of their panic hindi na niya naisip. Luckily the hospital their in is an extension of Luxifer hospital chains at nang makita siya at si Kennedy almost all of their best doctor respond to them.

Currently Kennedy is in the operating room. Malala ang kondisyon nito, alam ni Quinn iyon. She's panicking inside, gusto nito umiyak at mag-wala pero hindi niya magawa. Ramdam niya panginginig ng buong kalamnan niya dahil sa nangyayari. The longer she's alone the more she's thinking negatively and its taking a toll on her. All she could do is walk back in forth. Walang kung ano pumasok sa ulo niya.

Paulit-ulit na nag-play sa utak niya ang nangyayari anina. Simula ng mabangga si Kennedy, she's blaming herself. Gusto lang naman niya na hindi ma-stress ito dahil halata naman na miss ni Kennedy si Calcifer. Hindi sana ito aalis, kung hindi niya ito pinaalis. Hindi ito nangyari. Kennedy and the baby would have been safe.

Hindi alam ni Quinn kung dahil ba sa pagod o stress o pinagsama ng dalawang bagay na iyon. Bumagsak siya sa sahig, hindi niya napigilan umiyak habang nakasalampak sa sahig. Quinn is losing her mind crying. She's sitting there crying in the operating room hall. Gusto nitong gumalaw at tawagan ang kung sino pero hindi nito magawa. She's paralyzed.

All the while the three Crest almost wreck the door open, Especially Calcifer Crest. The man look dangerous especially in his suit, his expression is itched with worry and anger. While the other one just look like a worried man and the other one who look pale but still have an exquisite look. Three of them walk towards the OR hall and that's when they saw Quinn, covered in blood and sitting in the floor.

The youngest Crest, Kyx immediately run toward his wife. Quinn seeing his husband just broke down again. Like a lost child who finally find her parents Quinn ran to him and hugged him. Bishop stared at his younger twin and his sister in law, a bitter feeling wash on him. He wish she had someone to love and worry like his twin but he's not in a state to do so. He wanted to be loved again but no. Love is wonderful but it's not for everyone.

And he is one of them. There's nothing more cruel than loving someone and leaving them. So he's happy that slowly his brothers are finding the woman of their dreams.

He shove that bitter feeling as he walk towards Calcifer, who look like he's about to cry and fall on his knees. Namumutla ito at halos paiyak na. Habang pinapakalma naman ni Kyx ang asawa niya. Quinn can see that Calcifer wanted to ask but seeing her state alam ni Quinn na pinipigilan lang ni Calcifer ang sarili niya lalo na at may history siya ng PSTD. Although she recover but it can still be trigger with heavy emotions.

Especially after what she witness.

But Quinn, set aside the mental torture. Pakiramdam nito kasalanan niya ang nangyari. Quinn sob as she hug her husband and spoke. "I'm sorry. Kung hindi ko siya sinabihan na puntahan ka wala siya dito, intake siya ng fugax niya." Tinitignan nito si Calcifer na parang bingi nakatayo lang doon. "Pupuntahan sana namin siya ng biglang may bumagsak sa sasakyan niya. Si Tita Sil iyon."

Calcifer felt like he died listening to what happen, parang nawala ang lakas nito at kung wala lang si Bishop sa likod nito at napaluhod na ito sa sahig. Pinaupo siya ni Bishop sa tabi ni Quinn na halos mawalan na ng hangin dahil kakaiyak. Bishop felt helpless looking at them, lalo na ng marinig niya ang sinabi ni Quinn, lalo na tungkol kay Kalina. Kennedy's mother. Kailan ba sila titigil?!
