Chapter 53

"Yeah. You've been through enough. Kaya kinausap ko iyon and also alam mo ba na siya din huli nag-bigay sakin ng singsing."

While doing their daily work on the cafe, nag-uusap sila ni Quinn. Nasa office silang dalawa habang may chine-check na mga papeles, inventory at inaayos ang schedule ng mga employee nila. Everything is going great so far. She's enjoying working at the cafe while painting and sculpting. Her life is peaceful and full of love. She never felt so calm and quiet before.

Her mood swings are not bad as before overall she's improving and slowly unlearning all the toxic behavior she have developed all throughout the years. Its a hard and slow process but she's doing it, slowly but surely.

Slowly her fear and doubts disappear because of Calcifer who make her feel loved every single day she's breathing. Hindi ito nag-bago. He still treat her the same and it just get better everyday. Showing her the same love and affection, his warm words and touches. He didn't change at all, ito pa din ang lalaking minahal niya mula noon at ang tanging lalaki na mamahalin niya ngayon.

"Mula noon ganiyan siya. Lalo na pag- dating sa mga kakambal niya. " She nonchalantly said. Totoo naman sa mag -kambal na iyon si Bishop ang pinaka -pranka. He's not a fan of sugarcoating words. "Buti na lang hindi mo sinukuan si Kyx."

Quinn laugh. "Yeah. Kulang na lang ilibing ako ni Bishop noon." Quinn then stand up before grabbing something from the metal cabinet beside her. "He apologized but it took me a while to forgive him." Tapos tumawa ito na parang may naalala nakakatawa. "Halos araw-araw iyan pumupunta sa bahay para mag-sorry. Buying me flowers and all that until I get to see who he really is and until I learn something."

Parang may kung ano pumintig sa tenga niya dahil sa biglang lumungkot ang tono ng boses nito pero ng mapansin ni Quinn na nakatingin siya dito ay pilit itong ngumite. "Sorry but yeah. Bishop is just worried about his twins brothers but he's a nice guy." Quinn chuckle. "If he want to be one. Kaya nga ng nalaman ko na nakilala kana ni Bishop kinausap ko siya na huwag kang guluhin at pag- sabihan ng kung ano."

"Is Bishop okay?" She can't help but ask. Parang iba kasi ang ibig sabihin nito. It's not her nature to ask personal question. I mean if people trust you enough, they'll tell you and she doesn't want them to think that she's nosy. "Nakita namin siya kahapon. Sa hospital, bakit siya nandoon?"

Quinn just smile at her. "Must be his daily check up. He's okay." Ani nito, but she felt like Quinn is lying or she's putting too much meaning on something again. "Just take care of Calcifer. It would be a big relief to Bishop. Malihim talaga ang mag-kambal tungkol sa relasyon nila. Trust me, naka-tatlo kami ni Kyx bago ko nalaman lahat ng trip nila."

Hindi na niya ginulo si Quinn tungkol kay Bishop. Kung ano man iyon sigurado siyang sasabihin lang nila iyon kung gusto nila. Alam niyang hindi kaya ni Calcifer mag-tago ng sikreto sakaniya. Kaya hindi siya nabahala, sadyang nagtataka lang siya. Iwinaksi niya iyon sa isipan niya at nag-simulang nag-trabaho. It's like any other day except she saw some of her graduating students walk in in.

Napangiti na lang siya. It's their graduation day. She saw it on Instagram. She's somehow active there. Posting picture of the Calcifer and their children, the cafe, her classes. Just her everyday life with Calcifer as her watermark. Halos lahat ng larawan niya ay kasama si Calcifer. You could always spot him in the background or his things. She's openly showing that she's Calcifer lover.

Somehow her old students interact through Instagram, alam niya na nakita ng mga ito ang mga post niya so they knew the real score. Siya ang nasa cash register kaya naka-usap niya ang mga ito. Quinn took her place and told her to spend time with them, alinlangan pa siya pero hinatak siya ng mga ito papunta sa third floor ng cafe.
