Nick and Demi were invited to Ryan Seacrest's radio show. The couple sat next to each other, facing the host. Both of them were all smiles, happy to see their old friend. Initially, Nick's management scheduled the interview to promote his newly released movie, but Ryan personally asked if he could have Nick and Demi come to the show to talk about their respective careers and also to get some inside stories about their personal lives.
Ryan gave his show's opening before welcoming Nick and Demi on his radio show. The show started with Nick talking about his newly released movie and answering a few questions regarding his current and upcoming projects. Demi chimed in every once in a while, showing her support for her boyfriend. Then the subject moved from Nick to Demi's current endeavors, and she was careful not to reveal too much about her upcoming projects as some of them had not yet been confirmed. However, she reassured her fans that there would be something for them in the future.
After getting the updates of each of Nick's and Demi's professional endeavors, Ryan shifted the topic to their personal lives. Ryan couldn't help but be excited as he asked a few questions regarding their personal lives. Nick and Demi answered candidly but cautiously. As much as they didn't mind displaying their affection in public, they preferred not to give too many details about their relationship beyond what was already known through their social media accounts. As a TV personality himself, Ryan understood why the couple didn't want to reveal too much. But Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato were one of Hollywood's power couples, so as a host with years of experience in the entertainment industry, he wouldn't let it go so easy. It was a part of his job to dig deeper to get the inside scoop when it came to personal matters.
Ryan swiveled his chair slightly toward Demi. "So Demi, I'm sure you get this question a lot. What is it like dating Nick Jonas?"
Demi glanced at Nick with a soft chuckle, and Nick replied with a grin. Indeed, she was asked that question a lot, and she didn't mind answering it. Nick Jonas was not just a lovely man; he was also an amazing lover. He was hers, and she was proud of it. She pursed her lips, thinking of the best way to answer the question. "In the public eyes, I'm dating Nick Jonas, the talented and handsome singer-songwriter. But to me, I'm in a relationship with Nick, my best friend – someone that I've already built a baseline of love, care, and trust with and will continue to have that. Despite the difference in our personalities, he understands more about me than I do about myself. I can count on him for a lot of things. He always knows just what to say to make me feel better when I'm down, overwhelmed, or even when I'm just too full of myself. He's my anchor." She giggled as she gazed at him with affection while he wasn't looking. Every time she talked about him in public, she couldn't help but help gushing about him. How could she not? Nick was her world. Her life would be sucks without him.

"I think that's the perk of dating your best friend, right? You already have that knowledge about each other, the understanding of how one another might feel or react to something." Ryan stated.
Both Nick and Demi nodded, agreeing with the statement. When you were dating your best friend, it was kind of a fast track. You skipped the getting-to-know-each-other phase. So you didn't have to go through new-relationship-white-lies. You knew all of each other's quirks and were fully aware of each other's bad habits. However, friends turned lovers require the same effort to remain strong just like any relationship, regardless of how long you knew each other before starting dating.
