Kaubuk spirits
Evil or servant spirits that look like little dragons with glowing tails that allow them to drag themselves through the air. They attack strangers and immobilize them with numerous bites and cuts with their claws. Then they wrap around their victim and choke it to death. They are extremely nimble and manoeuvrable. Only their masters, with whom they have concluded a contract, can whistle them back.
Mononoke ghosts
Vengeful spirits who occupy things or individuals and make them suffer, cause disease or even cause death.
Phantom
An empty, willless shell that roams aimlessly. Phantoms are human souls who died in hell. They lose all character and memory. There is little chance for them to be born again.
