It rang as Tyler entered the room. Another new school. He had to repeat the last year of high school because his father had to move again because of his job. But this time he would hopefully finish it. He stood next to the class teacher who greeted the students.

"A new term begins, it's your last, so give it your all and spend your nights wisely, not playing games but sleeping."

A soft laugh went through the room, then he continued, "We have a new student. Go ahead, introduce yourself."

Tyler hated to introduce himself. "I'm Tyler and I'm new here. I hope we get along well." That was all.

"Alright, sit in the free seat on the right."

Tyler took his bag and put it in the place that was right next to the window. Next to him sat a boy with light blond hair and light skin. He was wearing a black T-shirt with three white rings on it and dark blue jeans. Is he asleep, or why does he have his eyes closed?

"Hope, can you let him look into your books for the time being?" the teacher asked.

"Sure," he said, putting his book in front of Tyler. Then he pressed a button from a weird black device and looked forward, his eyes still closed. Really strange.

The new kid has a really great voice. As soon as the bell rang, Hope packed up and turned to his best friend Steve, who had nudged him.

"Do we want to buy chocolate squirrels before exercising?" his best friend asked.

"Sure, it's my turn today, isn't it?"

"Yep, I don't have a penny on me either," Steve said with a grin.

Hope laughed and ran next to Steve. "But then you navigate me as payment." He usually uses his click sonar, but sometimes it was just exhausting. When that happened, he walked next to Steve who would pull him away when someone came. After traditionally sponsoring Steve's chocolate squirrel, they walked to the gym.

"Steve, tell me. The new one, what does he look like?"

Steve looked at Hope. "Um. A few centimeters taller than you, dark hair down to the shoulders, heavily warped. He has brown eyes and a lip piercing. Probably the sporty guy."

"Is he muscular?" asked Hope.

"Um, I'd have to watch during gym. Why, is his voice your type?" Steve curiously asked. Steve had known for a long time that Hope was gay and he had zero problems with that.

Hope just laughed. After changing clothes, they warmed up.

"What's coming up today?" Hope asked.

When they learned it was basketball, he just laughed and said, "Have fun, Stevie. Don't break your nose again."

In response, he let out a vulgar sound. Hope placed himself in a corner off the field and began push-ups. Because he was blind, he had a good excuse not to participate in this nightmare and completed Grace's Killer Program 2.0, which she had described to him a month ago.

After a while, his sweat ran down. This is really a killer program, this crazy one. Grace was right. They had regular contact and talked on the phone at least twice a week.

"Can I join?" a deep voice asked which he identified as the new kid, Tyler.

Hope sat down and looked in his direction. "Not keen on basketball?" he asked the newcomer.

"I get an exception, because it's my first day," replied the beautiful voice.

"Sure, you can join in."
