The next morning, Lyric knocked on Hope's door. He waited for him to invite him in. When the approval came, he entered. The human sat on the bed and looked at him with his eyes closed. He would have to get used to it. He knew Hope was blind, and yet it bothered him. "Are you ready?" he asked the human.

He shook his head, but then said, "But it doesn't matter. So let's go."

Hope got up and put on a top, for he had slept without one. He had started doing this when he had started sleeping with Sereph and snuggling up to him at night.

Lyric grimaced when he saw the deep scars on his chest and back. He knew about them and yet they frightened him every time. What happened to him that he had such scars that they remained even after his death? But he wouldn't dig deeper. The boy is stubborn and has stamina. But will that be enough?

"Should I lead you out or will you follow me like yesterday?" he asked the human, still fascinated that he had run after Nix without any problems.

"Just walk in front of me," Hope replied.

So, they went outside and passed through the gate. The darkness swallowed them, but Hope didn't see it. Instead, he looked around confused. "Lyric, is here... nothing? I can't perceive anything."

Lyric looked at him in surprise. Fascinating. He will have to explain this in more detail later. Shortly thereafter, a larger area appeared with benches where Nix and Tori were waiting for them. Hopefully they didn't murder each other again.

Nix had largely informed Tori about their situation. The god had listened in silence. When Lyric and Hope joined them, they both became calm.

Tori took the floor. "If I could sum it all up, within these two years, Hope must become a warrior who can defeat a demon of rank B. It should be noted that he is blind."

Nix and Lyric nodded, Hope lowered his head. He had a bad feeling. How could I become a warrior? I'm just a human being, a handicapped one at that.

"I think the biggest challenge will be dealing with his blindness. He already has some muscle mass, which can serve as a basis," Lyric said.

Same song again, no matter what world I'm in. But then the god said something that no one had expected. "Why do you talk all the time that Hope's blindness is a disadvantage or handicap that needs to be compensated?" Everyone looked at him, including Hope with his eyes closed.

"What do you mean, god?" Nix asked with narrowed eyes.

"I think you all have a completely wrong picture of the situation. In my opinion, it wouldn't be possible for Hope to reach this level if he could see."

"If I may speak, but what do you mean? My blindness, without sugarcoating it, is a limitation," Hope asked Tori.

The god frowned. "No, it's just the opposite. You see better than all of us."

"Can you tell us more about that?" the rune demon asked him.

The god sighed. The view of mortals is really very limited. Fair enough. "Okay. Lyric and Nix, get up and go to the back."

The two did what Tori said, even if they didn't know what it was.

"Lyric run slowly forward, Nix approach next to him silently. Stops both about a yard in front of him."

Tori talked to them in his mind so Hope wouldn't know what he was planning. Sly. They carried out his instructions exactly.

"Alright, Hope, who's behind you?"

Hope frowned. "I don't know what you mean, but ok. Lyric is about a yard behind me. To the left of him, slightly offset, is Nix."

The two demons were at a loss for words.
