Atsushis pov :
He was now finishing work .
Dazai finished earlier and was on his way to come walk Atsushi home .
Those words Ranpo said stuck to his brain .
'do I really look gay ? No wait I am gay I said to Dazai I was . But that was a long time ago I doubt he even remembers '
Dazai got there but had to speak to Yosano first .
'couldn't he have done this earlier '
Dazais pov :
He gets back to the agency to take Atsushi home but he also has to talk to Yosano .
He and her go to her office to chat .
"What do you want to talk about Atsushi looks tired and wants to go home"
"I don't think he should help on the murder . I know he says he can but I strongly believe he will shatter into a million pieces"
"Ok I'm gonna be honest I don't really want him on the case either but we can't kick him out because we don't think he's ready . And if he's not he I'll know and back down "
"But you saw in the meeting he saw a glimpse of a picture and bolted and we don't even know why he did in the bathroom either "
"You really shouldn't just assume every time he goes to the bathroom he's doing something to himself Dazai . You need to give him credit he's doing so well "
"Yeah but I worry about him you know the slightest things can upset him "
"I know but we have to trust him ok . Go home Atsushi looked exhausted "
"Ok night "
"Wait one more thing maybe don't make him eat anything tomorrow morning . I wouldn't either it's gonna be messy and like you said he might shatter "
Dazai agrees .
He takes Atsushi home and now it's really late .
He says night and the two go to bed .
Dazai ate earlier and he assumed Atsushi wasn't hungry .
Atsushis pov :
He woke up the next morning to remember the box outside his window.
He quickly gets up and opens his window .
Luckily it didn't rain so the box was ok .
He opens it to see exactly what he wanted .
Smokes , vapes , lighters , roll paper literally all he needed was there .
He hid the box under his bed and got dressed .
Dazai was in the living room reading his book .
"You ready to go we need to get there earlier so we can talk to people "
"Yeah let's go "
The two walk to work .
"Ok everyone we will be getting in the van and driving to the location . When we get there we will see the latest body . Dazai , Atsushi , Tanizaki and me will ask the people on the road . Yosano , Ronpo and kenji you look for any evidence in the house . Let's go ."
Everyone listened to kunikida and got in the van .
Atsushi could sense a few eyes looking at him .
But he didn't really care because he was a little excited .
He hasn't been able to do something like this is ages .
They get there and head to the house the boy was murdered in .
The body has a sheet over it .
There was blood everywhere and it was a mess .
He was in what seemed to be his room and the window was broken .
Everyone watched as the sheet was taken off .
