Camila's POV

"When will you let Sevann know about his daughter, huh? Will he accept her? Will he love her?" She shouted as she pointed her finger to my daughter. "He won't! Your daughter ruined him!" She looked at her with a grin.

I gradually went on Camile and covered her ears. I bit my lower lip to stop myself from crying when I saw the glimpse of tear in my daughter's eyes. It feels like my heart just shattered in pieces when I witnessed how hurt she is right now.

Her lips are trembling in pain. "Love, go to your room, please?" I pleaded to her. She gradually nodded and turned her back at me.

I glared at Mama when Camile left. "She's young! She's just a kid! She knows nothing, Mama! Why would you get my daughter involved in your devil doings?!" I hysterically said.

She grinned at me. "She's not! She is the reason why Sevann left!"

I sped up my walk towards her and immediately slapped her. "That's all because of you! And, this will be the last time that you will make my daughter felt sorry for your shamelessness! This will never be her fault in the first place, Ma!"

"How dare you slap me!"

I glared and held her wrist when she's about to slap me back. "How dare you hurt my daughter's feelings, Ma?!"

We both just stopped when someone opened the main door of my house. My heart seemed to fall when I saw that it was Sevann. I felt that Camile step out of where she is. My lips trembled with nervousness. My knees almost went weak and I was suddenly held to Camile for support.

His eyes were bloodshot while looking at us. Did he hear us? Did he? He didn't? Tell me!

"Did you hear... us?" My lips were trembling in fear.

He licked his lower lip and smiled in pain. "I heard loud voices when... I was walking with my dog. Then, I walked in without your permission. And, yes, I heard it all." His voice broke.

Mama looked at Sevann with disgust. "The nerve of you to come back!" She pointed at Sevann. Sevann managed to smile on her. She's angry when she left.

My Mama left after what happened between us. She didn't even greet my daughter. Buti nalang. I don't want my daughter treat her like her dearest grandmother. I don't want Camile to recognize her as her grandmother. I won't like my daughter to trust her. It will be difficult because there was a possibility that my Mama could brainwash her.

Sevann remained standing, his tears gradually fell as he looked at Camile. He smiled at her, but Camile pulled my top. When I looked at Camile, the traces of her tears were still there.

I looked at her and smiled. I went down a little so we could be on the same level. I caressed her cheek down to her hair. "Are you fine? Don't cry, love. Mama's here, okay?"

When I looked back at Sevann for a moment, I am weakened when I saw the anger, surprise and pain in his eyes. This is my chance to confess to him the truth, everything, after hiding it for almost a few years. I am sure he will ask a lot of questions, I am sure his mind is now a mess.

"Is she my child?" For the second time, I heard the familiarity of pain in his voice. My heart just shattered in pieces. I couldn't even count how many times my heart have been broken.

I was stunned. I felt like they removed my ability to speak. I don't know how to answer that mere question. It was so hard and painful seeing him curious, guilty, mad and agonized. It was so hard seeing him in the verge of crying.
