Xiphos POV:

(Come on, where is he? Stupid headache) It's been a day since Xo and I had that talk and I couldn't find Xylo anywhere. (He's never this hard to find, why can't I find him now?) After flying around for 5 minutes, I landed and took a break to maybe find something to eat. I mumbled to myself, "Maybe there's something in the camp cafeteria that's good." I grabbed myself a steak and sat down. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" Two girls ran through a portal screaming and one held grenades. "Whoa, you two, who are you and why are you here?" "That's a giant, right Kayla?" "Mhmm" "Once again, why are you both here?" "Uhh, Kayla." "Yep." "RUN FOR IT!" Another portal appeared and they both jumped through it. I just stood there as it closed and through the portal, I could see the girls running and screaming. "Uhhh, that was interesting, wasn't it Xiphos?" "JESUS CHRIST! XYLO!? Where have you been?! I've been looking for you everywhere." "Me, just been hanging around, patrolling the camp." Xylo just smirked. I couldn't help but feel irritated and clearly, he noticed. "Haha, I'm just messing with you. But since you wanted to see me so badly, spill." "Alright, well the past day has been chaos. Drannus made a deal with Moros, I haven't seen Zeratino anywhere and I think Drannus told him about that, Xo saw Moros, Elphis found out that something was wrong with my mother and didn't tell anyone until now, and that's about it." Xylo just stared at me with his stupid dumbfounded face. I was already mad so I punched his arm. "OOOWWW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" "It's called I'm stressed, mad, and I haven't eaten anything other than this steak or slept in the past day." "Umm, what steak?" "What do you me-" When the weird girls came through the portal my steak must have gone with them. "DAMN IT!! That was my food." I was fairly upset. (That was the only food I've had.)

Xylo POV:

I was staring at a man that looked as if he lost everything. Understandably, I would be really upset if that were the only food I'd had. I went looking for something that wasn't destroyed by whatever happened, and I found some cooked turkeys. (Why are there, never mind. Probably because of Nad.) I forgot how much Nad eats, but I shook my head and went back to Xiphos. I keep on trying to figure out how the friendly, teddy bear and huggable giant from last year turned into what Kat described as a workaholic and not someone you wanna piss off. "Hey Xiphos, I found some turkeys, you want one." "Did you say turkey?" "Yep, why don't we eat outside though?" "Sure, fine with me. I don't care where we eat as long as I can eat." We walked to one of the tables and sat down. Xiphos ate like a feral dog. Not surprising considering I had to deal with Nad, but still not fun to watch. "So why were you looking for me? Other than telling me what happened with Moros and Elphis." "I wanted to know what you knew about my mother." "Hold up, WHAT?!" Xiphos looked at me and rephrased what he said. "What do you know about my mother?" "Oh gods, um, that's hard. Let me think for a few minutes." I thought about that question and let it play through my head over and over again while I tried to think about what my father attempted to beat into my head when I did see him in the underworld. "If you want the truth Xiphos, I don't know much about Gaea. No one does, unless you have a parent who talks about it as part of your ascent into adulthood or you're a book addict. If I know anyone or thing that has this information, I would suggest the underworld's library, the Library of Alexandria, Olympus's library, or one of the gods." Xiphos got up and started to walk away, but not before he turned around and said, "Alright, thanks. At least I know somewhere I can start." "Why do you want to know more about your mom?" He sighed and looked at me dead in my eyes, "Ever since Xo told me what Elphis knows about my mother, Gaea's had more involvement with this stuff than I thought. Apparently, she helped Xo eons ago, and she's been connected with me and Zerry for ages. I just found this out and it makes me realize how much I don't know about her." "Ah, well if I find anything out, maybe I can tell you and give you some closer about it. Also, what was the deal that Drannus made with Moros?" "Moros is going to help us with the prophecy starting tomorrow." "Huh, okay. I need to find Bryan and Inpu, maybe they can find some way to help." "Alright, I'll go find my brother, bye Xylo." "See ya." He flew off and I couldn't help but feel death in the air. The chill and smell were horrid. (Dad, what's going on? Can't you help?)
