Spring break was getting close and I was excited to finally have some break from school. Steve and I had been still dating and we planned on going to a Basketball game tonight to support Robin who was in a band, and Lucas who played in the team.
I was putting on my shoes when I heard a knock. "Coming!" I yelled before walking over to open the door.

I opened the door, revealing Steve with a bouquet of my favorite flowers in his hands. "Steve, thank you!" I said before placing a kiss on his lips.
"Only the best flowers for the best girl," Steve said before grabbing my chin and pulling me in for another kiss.
We pulled away and I let him in my house. "I'm going to put this in my room and then we can go."
Steve nodded as he waited for me outside of the bedroom door.
I placed the flowers in my vase. "Okay, we can go," I said before turning around to walk out of the bedroom but Steve grabbed my hand, stopping me.
"Or we can, you know, stay here for a bit," He said as he began to kiss my neck.
I moaned softly before pulling him away from me. "Robin is waiting for us, we'll do this some other time."
Steve sighed before looking down at the floor. "Yeah, you're right."
I smiled at him as I grabbed his hand and we headed to his car. We got in the car and Steve started to drive over to Robin's place as we talked about nonsense the whole ride.
Robin opened the car door, sitting in the seat at the back of the car. She pulled out a mirror and began applying some mascara over her eyelashes. "It is 7:00 in the morning, we have a stupid pep rally, and I woke up looking like a corpse." She complained.
"I think you look amazing." I complimented Robin who thanked me.
"You're worried about a pep rally?" Steve asked. "You expect me to believe that?"
"Yeah? So?" Robin said before bending over to grab more makeup out of her bag.
"So we both know what this is about." Steve snapped. "Not buying that. This is about Vickie."
"Absolutely not." Robin denied.
"I think he's right," I said, stepping in Steve's defense.
"You know what else?" Steve asked.
"I don't care--"
"You gotta stop pretending to be someone else when you're around her," Steve advised. "You just gotta be yourself."
"You're literally quoting me to me. You do realize that." Robin exclaimed.
"Maybe you need to listen to yourself. Ever think about that?" Steve asked. "I listened. Look at me. Boom. Dating Y/n."
