With the help of our bikes, we made it to Eddie's trailer. I hopped down from the bike, leaving it on the grass as I followed the group into the trailer.
Eddie opened the door as we slowly crept behind him.
"Goddamn," Steve said as he shined his flashlight onto the ceiling causing my eyes to shift over to the thing that he was pointing at. My eyes widened as I looked at the big red gate above us.
"This is where Chrissy died." Eddie piped up. "Like, right where she died."
"I think there's something in there," Robin said, looking up at the gate and the thing that slowly began to make its way through it.
"What is that?" I asked, not removing my eyes from it. Suddenly the thing burst right through the gate making us all jump back with a yelp.
After the thing stopped moving, we began to slowly walk over to the gate.
"No way," Steve said, looking up.
I looked up as well seeing the kids on the other side. Hearing Dustin's laugh I couldn't help but laugh back as well.
"Hi, there" Dustin laughed as he waved at us.
"Hi." We all said in unison.
"Holy shit this is trippy." Robin piped up as she looked at the kids that were upside down.
"Bada-bada-boom!" Dustin jumped in excitement.
"This is all great, but how are we going to get back to the other side?" I decided to speak up.
"Don't worry Y/N we already have a plan," Dustin said as he ordered Lucas and Max to get a mattress while he began to tie the sheets together so we could use it as a rope.
---
Lucas and Max returned with the mattress, leaving it right above us.
"Those stains are, uh..." Eddie said pointing at the stains on his mattress. "I dunno what those stains are."
Robin and I looked at each other before looking back at Eddie. "Gross." We said in unison.
"Not quite sure how these physics work," Dustin said as he returned with his self-made rope. "But, uh...here goes nothing." He said before throwing it down to us. "There we go." He chuckled as his idea worked. "Huh. Abracadabra. All right, pull on it! See if it holds!"
Robin looked at me as I gave her a nod. She grabbed the rope, pulling on it as hard as she could but the rope didn't break.
"This is the craziest shit I've ever seen in my life." Erica piped up. "And I've seen some crazy shit."
"Guess I'm the guinea pig," Robin said as she began to climb the rope. She grunted as she made her way to the other side, landing safely on the mattress. "That was fun."
The rest of us looked at each other, not wanting to be the next one to go.
Eddie sighed as he took one last look at us. "All right, guess I'll go." And with that, he began to climb as well. As he landed safely he looked at the kids with excitement. "That was fun."
I chuckled as I looked at Nancy who stood still like a statue. "Nancy?" I asked as I shook her shoulder. Her eyes began to roll back as I began to panic. "Shit, Steve help."
"Nancy?" Steve said as he began to shake her shoulders. "Shit, Y/N stay with her, I'm going to help them find her favorite song. Keep an eye on her."
"Okay, just hurry," I said as Steve began to climb the rope. "Nancy, please just stay with me. Nancy!" I shook her shoulders again. "Nancy, come on, come on." Her eyes suddenly shot open as she began to pant. I quickly grabbed her before she could fall. "Hey, it's okay, it's okay," I said, trying to calm her down. "You're okay, you're safe," I said before hugging her tightly.
