I brought Eleven a towel so she could dry herself. "You did great kiddo," I say as I hand her the towel. She nodded and I smiled at her.
The boys started comforting her and I decided to go talk with Nancy.
She was sitting on the floor in the hallway. I walked over to her and she looked at me. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying, but then again mine were probably as well.
"How are you?" I ask her as I lean on the wall next to her.
"Well my best friend is dead,...so not really good." She answers my question. I nod and we stay quiet for a second until Jonathan walks in.
He leans on the wall next to me, not saying a word.
"We have to go back to the station," Nancy says breaking the silence.
Jonathan and I looked at her confused.
"What?" Jonathan asks her.
"Your mom and Hopper are just walking in there like bait. That thing is still in there. And we can't just sit here and let it get them, too. We can't." Nancy shook her head.
Jonathan sighs before answering. "You still wanna try it out?"
"I wanna finish what we started. I want to kill it." Nancy says as she looks at Jonathan and then at me.

We parked in front of the police station and Nancy and Jonathan went inside to take back our hunting equipment. I decided to stay in the car since two people were enough for this job and I didn't want to get caught by my dad.
After they successfully grabbed our stuff we first drove to my place so I could take my shotgun and then we drove back to Jonathan's place.
We stopped in front of his house and we took the boxes inside. We started to prepare the traps. It took some time to do it but we were finally finished.
Jonathan grabbed a few knives before handing them to us. "Remember..." Jonathan started speaking.
"Straight into Will's room and--"
"Don't step on the trap," Jonathan added to my sentence.
"Wait for the yo-yo to move," Nancy says.
"Then..." Jonathan lit up the lighter that he had in his pocket. "All right. You ready?" He asks while putting the lighter back in his pocket. Nancy and I just nod.
"On three, one...two...three." I counted down. The three of us slit the palm of our hand with the knife. I winced in pain. It hurt like hell.
I sat at the kitchen table, wrapping the bandage on my hand. Jonathan and Nancy were sitting on the couch doing the same thing.
I jumped when I heard someone banging at the door. "Jonathan!? Are you there, man!? It's...It's Steve! Listen, I just want to talk!" Steve called as he began banging at the door again.
I got up from my seat to open the door.
I opened the door just enough so that he could see my face but not the inside of the house. "Steve, listen to me, you have to leave," I say.
"Y/n what, what are you doing here?" He asks looking at me confused.
"Steve. Leave." I order but he didn't listen.
"I'm not trying to start anything, okay?" He put his hands up and his gaze slowly drifted towards my hand. "What happened to you?" He grabbed my hand to take a closer look." Did he do this to you?" He asked in a soft voice clearly worried.
