She enjoy her strawberry gelato on the stairs at the piazza. She watch the bustling crowds of locals and tourists. She just had a nice morning in Italy. Holly is in tune with the European rhythm that she woke up early from a very good night sleep. She stay at a hotel near the piazza but away from the crowd. The room is decorated with classic Italian aesthetic. She had her breakfast of croissant and a complimentary coffee at the hotel room's veranda.

She takes her time to indulge in the Italian culture. She wear a nice long white floral dress with a white sneakers. By eight, she left her hotel room to, yet, another great adventure. She took a tour to see the historical landmarks like the Colosseum that morning. She went through the tour with ease that day. After her tour, she had a big lunch of pasta and pizza. She walk through the cobblestone of Italy to appreciate the architecture of the buildings. The tour this morning isn't enough to satiate her cultural curiosity of the country.

She stop by a gelato shop when she feels like there is more room for dessert from all the carbohydrates that she consumed earlier. She tasted all the available gelato flavor before choosing the strawberry ones. Sitting alone on the stairs of a piazza makes her feel lonely and gloomy. Solo traveling has been fun because you get all the freedom to choose.

It is still somewhat melancholy when you have no one to share the happiness and laughter with.

When she saw the couple by the bridge, Holly has a sudden urge to cry. She hold on to her tears as she walk pass them. It has been a couple of months that Holly and Brian go their separate ways. She still thought of him every so often especially when she saw couples together but this time the memories suddenly come crushing down on her.

She increase her pace to find a quiet place to relax. It takes her fifteen minutes to find a quaint little restaurant. She sits at the far corner of the restaurant. She can feel her introverted self screaming for a quiet time. Before retiring to her hotel room that evening, she has to grab something to eat.

Dinner is really good. She has a nice meal of braised fish with a side salad which cost her sixteen euro. Not a bad deal for a delicious meal in a great restaurant.

Holly return to her hotel room earlier than she had plan that evening.

Holly is in her comfiest sweats and eating an instant noodles in the veranda. The cool autumn air breeze through the little space. She is having a quick break from her packing. She is leaving Italy tomorrow. Holly cry again when she arrived in her hotel room. She thought leaving Brunei for a bit might help cure her wound, even for a little bit.

But maybe she's wrong.
