Holly munch on her favorite Korean food 'gimbap' and rewatching her favorite TV show 'Gilmore Girls', for the millionth time, from her handphone. She stop by her favorite Korean restaurant to have lunch before going back home which is an hour away. She consider the interview as a success - she was able to answer the questions pretty well confidently. Sitting across from her is the owner's cute son who she sneakily looks at every now and again. She can't help but giggle. She casually change her gaze to the show when it seems that the guy sense someone is watching him.
The guy is wearing a simple t-shirt and sweat pants, yet, he still looks good. Her teacher once told the whole class jokingly that if someone is really good looking, the person will always be good looking in whatever they're wearing. She laugh at the thought of it. Hard work and attitude is more important than appearance. She embedded this in her mind, even though, she do not mind a pair of Jimmy Choo's and a Chanel.
She reach for her glass of water and realizes that the glass is empty. She checks herself on the reflection of her handphone before calling the guy. She tells him she needs another glass of water and a couple of minutes later he fill her glass to the brim. She tells herself that this is the perfect time to have a conversation with him but suddenly finds herself at a loss for words. The minute she is able to form a word, the guy suddenly disappears to the back kitchen.
She sigh and drink up the water. The water taste good and she find herself staring at the glass instead of her handphone as she continues munching her food. She pays her bill after she finishes her meal and she give a weak smile to the owner. She walk slowly to her car, or her mother's car to be exact, thinking whether she should go home or just walk around for a bit before bidding farewell to the city. She still has some cash in her wallet - enough to go window shopping and stopping for a coffee a little bit. She loves her coffee and can't live without it when she was in her university. It helps her survive the afternoon class lull.
She start her engine and drive to the city center. This is going to be a good day.
