Holly put aside her empty luggage and sit on the crisp white bed. Her body aches and she can feel the exhaustion melted from her body. She can hear the faint rumbling of the busy street and the rustling in the kitchen. She lay her back on the bed and closes her eyes. She slowly drifted to her sleep from the unsung lullaby.
A figure suddenly interrupted her sleep. She immediately get up and follow it to the dining area. There are plenty of food prepared on the table. Holly eyes fixed on the hot chicken soup. She sit on the dark wooden chair and help herself to the steaming hot chicken soup. She put a plate of rice on the side and begin enjoying the warmth from the soup slowly warming up her body. She has no idea how such a simple meal can turn into a bliss.
She enjoy the meal with her companion. They talk and eat whilst the outside is curtained with the falling white snow. Her companion looks better. She looks a little less tired and she smile with a genuine happiness. She can't help but be happy with this change. She wants her to be happy, her former boss and now one of her close friends, Laila.

Laila bring her to her favorite bench in the park. They sit there and talk again. It is a little bit weird talking and sitting in the cold snowy park when they can just talk at the apartment or at the local cafe but it seems her friend feels like at home in the cold white snow. There is nothing much to see but withering trees and the white blanket of the cold ground.
The sound of her friend chattering warms her heart. At least Laila begin to opening up, unlike her previous self where she literally doesn't share about anything except for the weather. There are a few people walking speedily on the streets near the park to escape the winter cold.
The warmth of the herbal tea in her hand and the body temperature between the two friends is enough to make everything bearable. Talking to a friend is nice even in the cold winter.
