She cannot believe what she just saw. Her body is trembling from the sight and her breathing feels constricted. She is having a panic attack. She hear a sound of a flush from the next door cubicle. The sound of  tap water and footsteps echo the restaurant's washroom. The room feels empty. There is no sound except for Laila's attempt to stop crying and the sound of the tap water from the nearby sink. When she can't take it any longer, she let out a heavy sob.

She sob for what feels like hours until a group of ladies barges in. She flush the toilet in her cubicle to hide the sound of her sobbing. She can hear the ladies gossiping outside the cubicle. She force herself to stop crying altogether and get out of the cubicle. She go to the far corner sink and wash her hands. The ladies are still gossiping and powdering their noses. Laila is grateful that her presence doesn't make any difference to the ladies because her eyes are still red and teary. Her runny nose looks like Rudolph the reindeer. She takes a tissue out of the tissue packet in her bag to wipe her tears and blow out her nose.

She scramble through her bag for her makeup bag. It takes her five minutes to touch up what she needs to touch up. She look better than before. Less red nose and less mascara smudges. She takes a deep breath and pray that she will survive the evening.
