She move Hope from her comforter to Hope's little cozy bed. Her spacious bedroom smells like eucalyptus and lavender. Hope sleep soundly on her bed and Laila proceed to sit on her queen size bed. The crispy white cotton sheets with similar comforter cover her large comfortable mattress. She lay on her bed and look at her ceiling - her thrifted vintage chandelier hanging on the ceiling wall and make reflected rainbow shine on her bedroom wall. Playing hide and seek as the chandelier move a little.
Her half uneaten pizza is still on her bedside table waiting for her to finish it but Laila is still staring at the chandelier in a total mesmerizing manner. Her phone is still turn off and so does anything that connect her to the outside world except for her bedroom door and windows. She close her eyes to turn off the memories of last night's incident. She open it again whenever other thoughts distract her from it.
She smile at the chandelier on her ceiling for only God knows why. She keep on smiling until an inspiration hit her. She slowly walk to her white study table and switch on her laptop.

The sound of her fingers clicking on the keyboard breaks the silence of the room. She keep changing from typing on the laptop and checking multiple websites and YouTube videos on the internet. She click and click until her hands grow tired of clicking. She massage her hands and go to the kitchen for some refreshment. She take a can of strawberry soda from the fridge and gulp it down her throat. The cold and sugary drink is enough to give her the jolt of energy that she needs.
She go back to her room again and finding her baby Hope is sitting on the white table waiting for her. She hug Hope so tightly that she let out a soft meow. She put Hope on her lap and begins typing again. She does this all night long until she fall asleep.

Laila wake up suddenly as if she just woke up from a nightmare. Her pulse starting to increase and Hope wake up from her sleep. She look at the clock on her wall and it shows that it is already nine in the morning. She make a small yelp and run to her bathroom. She shower and change in world record time. She quickly put the cat food and water on Hope's bowl before rushing into her car.
The sunny weather and the physical exertion from her run are enough for her to sweat. She turn on the air-condition on full blast to let the cold air prevent her from sweating. She speed carefully on an almost empty road.
She speed until she arrives at her destination.
