Holly lay on the gym floor and look at the industrial looking ceiling. She stare at the big light before closing her eyes. She can hear the sound of people running on treadmills, the steely sound of the gym equipments and the squeaky sound of sport shoes. The smell of rubber from the gym equipments and sweats from the gym goer enter her nostrils. Her entire body is sweaty from her work out. She can feel the sweat starts to evaporate. The evaporated sweat makes her body feels sticky against her gym clothes. Her sleek ponytail become messy from her workout.

She can feel the endorphin from her work out starts to diffuse evenly throughout her entire body. Her heart beat and her breathing stabilized as she lay on the floor. Her mind become clearer and more focused. The multiple sound produced by the gym doesn't affect her one bit. She breath in deeply to get her blood oxygenated. She let her endorphin-pumped tired body to relax against the gym hard floor. She can feel the rubbery black mat against her exposed arms. She almost drifted into sleep when suddenly a man greet her and sit at the nearby gym bench.

She look at him and smile.

The man on the bench is busy doing the bicep curl using the 10-kg dumbbell. Holly examine the man at the bench closely before introducing herself. The man smile and introduce himself in return. The man is wearing a black shirt and an olive green shorts with a black pair of Adidas. The boyish features of the man does not quiet match his hard rock muscular body. Their conversation changes from talking about sport to a little bit more personal. Holly does not sure how long she has been talking to the man but she has a nice conversation with him.

When the man positioned himself on the black mat of the gym floor, Holly move to the bench and stretch her body. They talk between sets. When she is done stretching and resting on the bench, she say her goodbye to the man and walk to her car.

She drive home in her pink Jeep under the dark starry sky.
