Holly spend half an hour in the boutique looking for the perfect outfit for the company's gala night. She still has not find one that she wants. Sure, she can buy it online but it is not the same as going to a boutique, try it on and see how it looks like. There is something different when shopping in a shop or boutique. She loves it. It remind her of her younger days - shopping with her mother and friends when they have all the time in the world but now they seem to have none for each other, even with her mother. Their free time always clashes.
She walk around the boutique again until she cannot feel her legs. Her black stilettos that initially makes her feel sexy now makes her feel ugly. She just want to take it off and throw it away at that moment. She didn't, though. How unclassy would that be?
She sit on the nearby sofa and look through all the outfits. She rest her back to the sofa and close her eyes. Even shopping seems like a chore nowadays. She let out a heavy sigh before going to the fitting room. She drag her stiletto's feet to the only empty fitting room available. The small square space smell like Chanel No.5.
She try on all of the clothes but none look stunning. She wants to buy a stunning dress. The gala night will have a best dressed competition and she want to win the one thousand dollars prize money. She sit on the small wooden stool and look herself in the mirror. Maybe she is just too tired to feel amazing in all of this clothes. She grab her phone from her handbag and capture several photos.
She feel and look utterly horrible.

She carry the shopping bags with a struggle. She stop for a glass of cold water in the kitchen for a while before carrying the multiple shopping bags in her room. She sit on her bed and take out the black lace dress that she bought for herself. It is not revealing but still sexy. It shows off her beautiful curve but not body-hugging. She bought a pair of silver stilettos on impulse because there are just too good to pass up.
The red satin stilettos that she chose for her boss is really stunning as well. Holly had to help pick the outfit for her boss because she kept saying that she is not well as of lately which make Holly wonder what is happening to her boss? She look weak somehow - like the strong spirit that Holly saw in her somehow vanished.
She put all the shopping bags to the side and walk to the bathroom to have a long hot bath.
