Chapter 24

Klaus POV

I rubbed Tara's back making her turn away. Tara was still sleep. I began kissing her face and she finally opened her eyes. " stop Klaus"  she sighed. I starting laughing as she sat up.

"Come on. Get up it's time for your lessons."
"What lessons" Tara said exhaustively.
Tara walked behind me to Freya's room. Once we were in front of the door I turned around to see Tara's tired face.

"You will be taking witch lessons from Freya."
Tara looked at me jokingly. " I'm not a witch Klaus." "You never know" I smirked. I opened the door to Freya's room to see her standing near a table. I gently pushed Tara inside the room and closed the door.

Tara's POV
I huffed frustrated with Klaus. I walked over slowly to Freya who was grabbing what looked like herbs off the table and into a pot. "Could you hand me that lilac on that shelf for me" Freya asked. I walked over to the bookshelf she pointed to. Then I grabbed the herb I though was Lilac.

I handed her the herb. There was a stool on the other side of table which I sat in. I watch as she grounded the herbs and added milk to it. She said a quick incantation and she poured the solid /liquid potion in a small tube.

She sat the tube next to the night stand near the bed on the other side of the room. She clasped her hands and smiled at me. " Now let's get started." Freya showed me some basic spells. At first it wasn't working until we got to last spell. Freya went to the bed and grabbed a pillow off the bed.

She got a knife from off the table and ripped the pillow. She spread  the pillow feathers all across the room. "Now close your eyes. Let the magic flow." After about five minutes I sighed in frustration "I can't do this." I heard Freya laughing which made me open my eyes. "Look" Freya said.

I looked around the room to see not just feathers floating in the air but the herbs on the table,the lamps and even Freya. When I stood up in my chair that's when everything fell to floor. "I knew you could do it. Now let's clean this up Keelin should be home in a bit.

We cleaned up the feathers and put everything back in its place. As soon as I opened the door to leave Freya's room Klaus was in front of me. "So how did it go my love" Klaus questioned.
"Well I learned at least one spell." "Really. And who said they wouldn't be able to do magic." I rolled my eyes at Klaus as we sat in the dining room.

The rest of family sat down and we all began eating. "So Darling I heard you practiced with Freya today. So how was it" Kol grinned. "It was good. I learned one spell." Kol looked shocked which made me smile. "What kind of spell did you learn" Elijah asked. " She learned a levitation spell." Freya said.

We all continued eating. Once everyone was done I was about to walk back to parlor when Klaus gripped my hand. "Where do you think you're going, my love." I looked back at Klaus. "Elijah and I were gonna talk about the chapters we read." Klaus started pouting. "I wanted to watch a movie tonight." My heart swelled. " Well how about I watch a movie all night with you tomorrow."

Klaus sighed " Fine but you need to be in bed cuddled up next to me by elven" Klaus whispered in my ear. I started blushing while heading to the parlor room.

Klaus POV
I watch as Tara went down the hallway to the parlor room. Elijah came walking out of dinning room. "Brother it seems that you need to start spinning less time with my finance."
"Really. I wonder if she still remembered. Would she really want to be your fiancé."

I grabbed Elijah by his tie knocking him into the wall. "I will dagger you. Don't try me Elijah." I threatened . "Fine, Brother." Elijah sighed. I walked up the stairs angrily slamming the door. I put my back against the door. My eyes had turned gold and my canine teeth were showing.

Elijah POV
After Klaus blurred up the stairs. I fixed my tie and buttoned up my suit. I walked into the parlor room. Tara was already reading our book.
I sat right next to her. "So what did you think of the chapters you read." I watch as her rosy lips moved. Her eyes shined when she started talking about the chapters she read.

"Elijah". "Elijah". I snapped out my thoughts when I heard Tara yelling trying to get attention. "I have to go. Klaus wanted me to be in bed by elven." " Of course he did" I mumbled to myself. "I will see tomorrow" Tara smiled at me. We both stood up and I grabbed Tara hand. I kissed the back her hand while making eye contact. " I bid you a goodnight."

I watched as she walked out of the room. Once she had left and I  heard her close the door to her and Klaus bedroom. I sat down on the couch and head leaned back. "What am I gonna do now." I looked up at the ceiling gripping my hair breathing heavily thinking about how it. would feel with Tara beside me. We would read books all day. I would take her to see every part of the world.

I sighed heavily
"La donna più bella del mondo."
