Tara's POV
I woke up from my nap feeling refreshed. For once, I hadn't been plagued by nightmares, and I couldn't help but feel grateful. Smiling, I grabbed my headphones—Davina's thoughtful gift—and my phone, scrolling until I found "Con La Brisa" by Ludwig. The melody filled the room, pulling me into a memory of dancing at a club. I swayed my hips and twirled, letting my body move freely to the rhythm. High kicks and spins followed, the beauty of the song making my heart race. As I turned to the mirror, singing softly along, I froze.
There, leaning against the doorframe with an amused smirk, was Klaus.
"Klaus?" I asked, pulling off my headphones, embarrassment creeping into my voice.
"Yes, love?" he replied smoothly, closing the door behind him.
"Please tell me you didn't see all that," I said, groaning as I ran my hands through my hair.
"And if I did?" he teased, stepping closer until the space between us disappeared.
I laughed nervously. "Then I'd have to kill you."
"Oh, I'd love to see you try," he murmured, his chest brushing against mine.
His eyes glinted with mischief as he tilted his head. "Are you flirting with me, Tara?"
"And if I am?" I countered, looking up at him through my lashes, biting my lip playfully.
Klaus's hands moved to my waist, lifting me effortlessly. He carried me over to the bed, his lips quirking into a wicked smile.

Klaus's knuckles grazed the underside of my chin before his hand tightened gently around my throat. His lips crashed against mine with a possessive hunger, his kiss rough and demanding.
His tongue brushed over my lips, sending a shiver through me. As I parted my lips for him, one of his fangs accidentally nicked the corner of my mouth.
I whimpered softly, a tinge of pain mingling with the sensation. Klaus paused, his eyes locking with mine as his tongue traced the blood trailing down my chin. He smiled, then kissed me deeply, the metallic taste adding to the intensity of the moment.
"You're beautiful," he whispered against my lips before pulling back slightly, his golden-brown eyes filled with adoration.
My heart pounded as I placed my hands on his face, staring into his mesmerizing gaze. "I've always thought your eyes were beautiful," I whispered, my voice trembling.
Klaus's expression softened, a rare vulnerability flickering across his features. But his mischievous smile quickly returned. "Are you thinking of something else while we're being intimate?" he asked, his voice a mix of teasing and curiosity.
"No... no," I stammered, but he silenced me with a playful nip at my neck.
The initial sting quickly gave way to an overwhelming warmth as he fed. My body reacted instinctively, pressing closer to his, our movements perfectly synchronized. His hands tangled in my hair as we lost ourselves in each other.
Moments later, I reached my peak, my body trembling and breathless. Klaus pressed a gentle kiss to my forehead, his expression softening as he pulled away slightly.
"I need a shower," I said, my voice shaky as I tried to regain my composure.
Klaus smirked. "I think we both do."
I rolled my eyes and gently pushed him aside. "Not together!" I exclaimed, grabbing a towel and rushing toward the bathroom. As I turned back briefly, I caught him leaning back on the bed, his gaze fixed on me. My cheeks flushed when I noticed he was still...hard.
"I'm taking a shower!" I called out, disappearing into the bathroom.

Klaus's POV
Even with our clothes on, that moment was incredible. I couldn't help but imagine our wedding night—skin against skin, no barriers between us, truly becoming one.I smiled at the thought of her carrying my children, swollen with life we created together. I chuckled to myself, imagining us arguing over baby names.

One Week Later
Today was the day of the dance.I threw off the covers and reached for the note on my nightstand.
"I'll see you later tonight. I have a few things to take care of, but I've scheduled a massage at the indoor pool for you and Davina. I can't wait to see you tonight, my love."
—KlausI squealed into my covers before hopping out of bed. After my morning routine, I threw on a black shirt and matching joggers, then headed downstairs.
In the dining room, I found Kol and Elijah already seated.
"Hello, sis," Kol greeted, flashing me a grin.
"Hello, Kol," I replied, smiling back. Elijah, on the other hand, wiped his mouth and left without a word. My smile faltered as I watched him go.
"So, darling," Kol began, resting his chin on his hand. "I was thinking of asking your little friend to the dance."
"Josh?" I asked, confused.
"No, not Josh. The other one," he said awkwardly.
Realization dawned, and I burst into laughter. "You mean Davina?"
Kol nodded sheepishly. "Yes. Her."
"Well, make sure you bring her flowers. And if you hurt her, I'll hurt you," I said, grinning sweetly.
"You and Klaus really are perfect for each other," Kol teased, standing and leaving the dining room.
I finished my breakfast, thanked the maids, and headed out to meet Davina.
"Davina!" I called, smiling as we hugged.
"I was surprised when Klaus called me about a spa treatment," she said with a laugh.
"I know! I'm so excited," I replied as we walked down the hall. At the end of the corridor, the door to the indoor pool awaited us.
"Hello, darling," a familiar voice drawled from behind us.
