Regent's POV"Ascendo!" someone shouted, and suddenly, I was yanked into the air, the knife slipping from my grasp. My body twisted against my will, forcing me to face the source of the spell.
A sly smirk greeted me. "Davina Claire," I spat, my voice laced with venom. "How dare you interfere! You're going against the ancestors' will!"
"Fuck the ancestors' will," Davina replied coolly, her smirk widening. "I stopped believing in them a long time ago."
"Witches!" I shouted to my circle. "Potestatem veneficae colligat eam ti avita plano!" (Bind the power of the witch, take her to the ancestral plane!)

Davina's POV
I glanced at Kol and the others, still pinned helplessly to the ground. The remaining witches started chanting, desperately trying to counter my spell. I didn't falter. With a flick of my wrist, I silenced them.
"Silentium," I said sharply, watching as their mouths clamped shut. They froze, unable to move or speak.
I stepped closer to the Regent, her body floating helplessly in the air. "I've had enough of you lording over everyone," I said coldly. "And now you've decided to hurt my friend?" My eyes flicked to Tara, who gave me a shaky, grateful smile.
"You're done," I said darkly. Then, I turned to the witches cloaked in black. "If you don't want to end up like her... LEAVE."
The witches scattered, fleeing into the shadows. Behind me, Kol and the others began to stir, regaining their strength.
"Tara," Klaus gasped, pulling her into a tight embrace. He cradled her head against his chest and kissed her forehead.
Kol moved to my side. The Regent, still floating, gave a nervous laugh. "You can't stop us," she said weakly. "There will be others."
"And I will kill them all," Klaus growled, standing protectively in front of Tara.
With a sigh, I twisted my hand. The Regent's neck snapped with a sickening crack, and her lifeless body crumpled to the floor, staining her pristine white suit with blood.
A sudden dizziness washed over me. My vision blurred, and I felt blood trickling from my nose. I stumbled, but Kol caught me before I could fall.
"I'm taking her home," Kol said, steadying me.
"Wait," I said, my voice trembling. I moved toward Tara, Kol supporting me. Taking her shaky hand in mine, I whispered, "I'm so sorry."
Tara began to cry, pulling me into a hug. "I'm so glad you were here," she sobbed.
"How did you know this was going to happen?" Elijah asked as he stepped closer.
"A witch in her inner circle told me, but I didn't find out until it was almost too late," I explained.
"Davina," Rebekah called softly. She was still seated on the floor, cradling Freya.
I rushed over to Freya, kneeling beside her. Reaching out, I chanted, "Expergiscimini." (Awake.)
Freya gasped awake, coughing as she tried to sit up. "What happened?" she asked, dazed.
"We're taking her upstairs," Rebekah said as Marcel helped Freya to her feet.
Rebekah looked at Klaus and Tara with a faint smile. "Take her to the hotel," she said gently.
"No, we should stay and help clean up," Tara protested.
"I'll handle it," Elijah assured her. "It's your wedding day. Go enjoy it."
I smiled at Tara, and she hugged me tightly before leaving with Klaus.
"Let's get you home so you can rest," Kol said softly, holding my hand.

Tara's POV
The events kept replaying in my mind: the screams, the chaos, the bloodshed. Somehow, it all felt eerily familiar, like I'd lived it before.
Klaus's voice pulled me from my thoughts. "I was terrified I'd lose you," he said, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. "I hate that I couldn't do anything. You were supposed to have the perfect wedding, and—"
"—And none of this is your fault," I interrupted. "It's over now."
He glanced at me, his eyes softening. "I'll make the witches pay for this, but not tonight." A small smile tugged at his lips. "Tonight starts our honeymoon."

Klaus's POV
When we arrived at the hotel, Tara was asleep. I gently nudged her awake. "Love, we're here," I said softly.
She blinked at me, confused, before stepping out of the car. I handed the valet our keys and guided her inside.
"Klaus, this place is stunning," Tara said, her eyes wide as she took in the gold chandeliers and high ceilings.
"Everyone's staring," she whispered, leaning closer to me.
I chuckled. "It's because you're breathtaking."
Her cheeks flushed. The elevator attendant nodded respectfully, saying nothing as he took us to the top floor.
"Shouldn't we check in?" Tara asked, glancing back at the lobby.
I laughed. "Check in?"
When the elevator doors opened, her jaw dropped. "This... this is incredible," she gasped.
I tipped the attendant, watching as Tara wandered around the suite in awe.
⸻
Tara's POV
The suite was exquisite. Two elegant couches faced each other, separated by a glass coffee table holding wine and grapes. Floor-to-ceiling doors led to a sprawling terrace.
The king-sized bed sat on an elevated platform, piled high with crisp white sheets and at least twenty pillows.
On the bed was a plate of chocolate-dipped strawberries and a card that read: To the bride of Klaus Mikaelson.
"I hope you like it," Klaus said, smiling as he sat beside me.
"It's beautiful," I whispered. "When did you have time to arrange all this?"
"Rebekah handled everything. Even your pajamas," he said with a teasing smile.
My body tensed as nervous anticipation took over. "I... I'm going to take a shower first," I stammered, quickly standing and heading for the bathroom.
As I closed the door, I could hear Klaus's deep laughter echoing through the suite.
"Oh God," I muttered, covering my face in embarrassment.
