Chapter 69

Tara's POV
Klaus moved in a blur grabbing Elijah around the collar of his suit, pulling him up to face him. "LET HIM GO, NICK" Rebekah yelled. "How long did you know" Klaus growled.

Elijah pushed Klaus back dusting his clothes. "I found out from the witches. They told me and I thought that you of all people would notice". I looked between Klaus and Elijah. "It looks beautiful" I spoke. Everyone looked at me.

"I'm glad you like it" Elijah smiled taking a step closer to me. There was a beautiful bookcase in the corner. Next to it was an antique brown rocking chair with a bear sitting in it. Marcel and Rebeckah left shortly after the debacle.

Freya hugged me and went back to Keelin. Klaus and Elijah, we're the only ones left as I checked out the room. There was a mint green color to the room that went great with creme curtains. There was a baby crib in the corner with a twirl of objects above it.

It truly was beautiful. "Love, I think it's time for you to sit down. You shouldn't be standing for too long" Klaus said holding my lower back. I groaned looking at him. "I'm fine" I shook my arms out of his grip.

"I love you. I do but you need to stop. It's only been a couple of hours of you knowing I'm pregnant and you're driving me crazy" My chest puffed. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Klaus put his hand up in surrender coming near me. "I haven't seen Elijah in forever. Why don't you go do something? You should have a lot of work since you just got back" I said while glancing at Elijah.

Klaus knudged my head to look at him "What will do with him". "Start a new book" I clasped my hand together smiling. "She will be fine, brother" Elijah smiled. Klaus smiled weirdly back at Elijah. "Youre right" Klaus said kissing on my temple. "Call me if you need anything he said before leaving Elijah and I alone.

"So, how was the honeymoon"?

Klaus POV
"So you knocked her up" Khol said leaning against wall next to my office. I opened the door with khol following me in. "Shut up Khol".
"Hey I'm just asking. I'm happy to have another member of the family" Khol said genulily.

"Thank you. Now where's your girlfriend at" I questioned. "Davina" khol began to scratch his nape. "She's handling some business". "Well tell her she should come see her best friend. Tara was happy she was going to able to see her again but Davina not here" I sighed.

Tara's POV
"It was great" I blushed sitting in the rocking chair. "Thats good" Elijah replied. Silence fell upon the room which made things award. We both started talking but stopped. We began laughing falling back into old times. It never used to be hard to talk to with Elijah.

Elijah stood up grabbing to books off the shelf. "Simce you told me what books you've read I made sure to stock some books you've never read" Elijah smiled handing me a book. Taking a good look a Elijah sitting down I could see how confident and pristine he looked.

He jaw was sharp and suit perfect in every way. His hair was jelled back. Proper as always. Elijah was total opposite of Klaus. I quickly glanced back in my book when I had seem Elijah smirking at me. Elijah brown warm eyes made cough harshly from our eye contact.

Elijah stood up patting my back gently. My once moist throat was dry as the seara dessert. "Let me go get you sole water" Elijah said in a hurried expression. I watched Elijah walk out the room leaving me alone.

My head began to pound like I feel my heartbeat in my head. Flashes of scenes like from a movie plaid in my head. I could see myself holding my leg. I remember there was a scar. I got up moving towards the oval mirror on the wall. I turned half way around and bent down. I looked at my leg to see a scar going along the back of one of my thigs.

"Here's the water" Elijah came walking in making me stand up. I grabbed the glass and froze. My head began pounding again and my body felt warm. My eyes closed and flashes of memeoru started coming back to me. As I opened my eyes I dropped the glasscup in my hand. It shattered against the floor with small
Shards going into my lower leg.

I hissed in a pain as a single tear fell down my cheek. Elijah carried me sitting into the rocking chair. Elijah kneeled over me as I sat frozen looking at the ground. Before I had even notice Elijah bloody finger was in front of me. "Drink, wouldn't want your get infected. Klaus would kill me" I drank the blood but at mention of that name my eyes went wide.

After dripping a sip my injuries had heeled. I stood up as Elijaj was still kneeled. "You're leaving" Elijah questioned. I cracked my neck to the side and codly spoke. "Just gonna go get some rest" I whispered. I closed the door and went down the hallway. I looked down seeing the empty courtyard.

"I married him.... Slept with him.... Now, now... I'm having his monster of a baby".
