Chapter 136

CALAHAN POV
I sat at my thrown taping my fingers against the chair. "So, there are no updates from the men I sent to kill my daughter's husband and child"? "No, and Klaus got away" Damon explained. "You know I don't like getting bad news from you. As my child's mate you need to be able to handle these things. Get things done. I guess I'm gonna have to lie to my darling daughter".

Tara POV
Five days had pass and it was hard to move. However I enjoyed talking to this mysterious stranger. He seemed to have lived a long time. Telling me about the war's and the black plague. The same clicking of heels were heard and the bars opened.

"I thought you would have listen to me now. But since you wouldn't get with the program. I had to show you that there was no going back. Your daughter and that bastard Klaus is dead". My breath became uneasy and a loud sound came from my throat. Tears flooded my vision.

"YOU"I screamed. "Thats the monere I wanted to see. But no attacking mother " she smiled. I leaped at her but stop hearing a thud and the cell shake. Dust from the dirty wall fluttered in the air. "I couldn't touch her but the sounds near me began to make me tremble". "Walk" she whispered.

I began to walk but I could hear banging and growling. "You...what's your name " the man asked. "Tara" I said. "NO.Noo" the man screamed repeatedly. "What did you do to him? To his daughter" I asked. "Stop" she said. She moved to the cell to finally see the man. His hair, his eyes, I knew who he was. "Tara meet your father" Calhan smiled. Tears filled his eyes as he reached out but I heard a snap then Darkness.

Elijah POV
I turned off the engine looking into the window. "Stop sighing already, I'm gonna go in get the herbs we need then we can leave" Klaus said dryly . "I'm not risking your mouth which will be the cause if we find  Tara or not . I'm going in" I explained. Klaus scoffed and we got out the car. We went up the steps and I knocked on the door.

The door opened and a dark haired man answered. "Who was at the door" I heard a voice then Bonnie came around the guy. "Who are you" the guy asked. "What do you want" Bonnie asked with slight distain seeing Klaus. "Davina sent us. She needs certain things for a spell" I explained. Bonnie looked at me and back to Niklaus.

Klaus POV
"I know I did a lot of things to you and your friends. But remember I saved your sweet blonde friend. Caroline". "Yea, and you left her heart broken as well" she glared. She sighed rubbing her hair "come in". I smirked at Elijah and we walked past the guy in the doorway. "The names Enzo mate" he said holding out his hand to Elijah. They exchange greetings while I followed Bonnie.

"So, give me the list" she said dryly holding out her hand. I sat at the counter handing it to her. She looked over list "give me a second" she said disappearing upstairs. "So, you're the guy that Caroline talked about" Enzo asked leaning against the wall. I turned in my chair quite intrigued "whatever did she say" I smiled.

"She said an asshole named Klaus lead her on and left her. And never came back" he said angrily. "Ahh. Did she tell you how in love she was with another man. She liked Stefan Salvatore. Nothing for me to do" I shrugged.
"Hmm" he nodded. The door opened and we all turned. "BON, BON" I heard Caroline yell.

She walked in but stopped seeing me. "What the hell is he doing here" Caroline asked with a scowl on her face. Enzo smiled kissing the side of her cheeks "Hey, Caroline". She smiled at him and hugged him. She turned to me "What is the pyscho during here" she snarled. "I wasn't a psycho we had sex in the woods or when I saved your life".

Caroline's mouth opened and then she closed it. "I can't believe I ever liked you". "I can't believe it either" I laughed. "Enough," Elijah said stopping me from saying anything. Bonnie came down with a bag of stuff. "Leave, you got what you came for," she said holding out the bag. Caroline grabbed it "What the hell are doing," I said getting up from my seat.

"You fuckin left me and now you want to use my friend to get something hell no. You put my friends through shit and killed too many people. Whatever you need this for you're not getting it" Caroline said before blurring out of the house. Elijah looks to me then Bonnie. "You better bring her back here. I don't have time for these childish games" Elijah argued.

"I'm going to fuckin kill her" I growled. Enzo came up in a defensive stand. "You're not doing anything. Leave" he said. I grabbed him by his throat and slammed him down onto the floor. I felt my brain snap and pain. Bonnie kept reciting a spell making my brain snap over and over.

Enzo got up and was about to punch me when Elijah grabbed him."Let him go and I will let Enzo go" Elijah said looking at Bonnie. She stopped reciting the spell and Elijah let Enzo go. "Now, bring her back here so we can leave" Elijah spoke calmly to Bonnie. She looks at me and back at him. She grabbed her phone "Caroline" she said.
