Chapter 74

It had been a day. I couldn't focus on any of the meetings so I had to stay at home and cuddle with Kol. Kol had gotten me food but it tasted like old sand. The next day I went inside my closet and found the dress Tara had chosen for my date. It had been four days and I felt ready to see her body.

Kol hadn't talked to his siblings knowing how down everyone is. Currently, Kol and I were on the way to the compound. What would Tara look like? Would they have her in a coffin or.....

Tara's POV
I woke up to Klaus having his filthy hands on my body. I got out of his grip stumbling onto the ground and making a loud thud sound. The door opened and two men came in. I looked at them through my long hair scared. "It's fine boys," Klaus said sitting up in the bed. I glanced between them and Klaus sighing.

The guys exited the room while I looked at Klaus whose hair was frazzled. "You really got people to watch over me". "It's for your safety". "Oh cause I want to kill myself" I questioned. "Yes". "I can't kill myself now. Can I" I growled going into the restroom.

Elijah POV
I woke up sitting on my bed. It had been three days since I was able to see Tara. Klaus wouldn't allow any of us to see her. I didn't know how she was transitioning into a vampire. Today is the day I would be able to tell her but would she go for it?

Klaus POV
"Just be good. I will be back in a little while. If you try anything two guys are standing outside" I gave her a convincing look. Tara rolled her eyes holding the chain" Where will I go" she faked and smiled. I chuckled coming towards her which made her stiffen up. I kissed the top of her temple and then touched her stomach.

Tara swatted my hand away making me wince. "Don't touch me". I shook my hand understanding then took my leave. The two guys slightly nodded fretting me as I went down the hall. I stopped seeing Elijah in front of me. "How is she," he asked. "She's fine," I said coldly. "Are we done?" I said tilting my head in annoyance. "Of course brother" Elijah moved to the side so I could walk.

I looked back right before going downstairs.

Tara POV
I had eaten lunch and was watching tv. I guess school was definitely out of the question. And that honeymoon made me miss that history test. I sighed looking at the ceiling. I'm so bored.

Elijah POV
Two vampires stood in front of Klaus and Tara's door. "Move," I told them. "Klaus said don't let anyone in," the men in Dreds said. "Am I just anyone. I'm a Mikealson. Do you really want to make me angry you blundering idiots". One of them clenched their jaw while the other glared at me. Both of them move to the side as I went inside carrying two books.

"Uhhh uh," Tara groaned. I smiled at her reaction knowing she thought I was Klaus. When I looked at her I could see her skin shined and her hair was a lighter color. She had on shorts that showed off her beautiful legs and an oversized shirt that swallowed her.

Tara sat up and stared at me. She look flustered and she patted her hair down. "Elijah" she questioned. "Yes," I said putting my books on the desk and standing in front of her. "I missed you," I told her. "I bet you did miss me. If I'm correct you're the reason I'm like this" she stated.

I rush to my knees holding her hand "I know but I'm sorry. I'm glad I gave you my blood. You would have died". "It's not your choice to play god". "I was supposed to die. There was nothing for me to live for. My virginity has been taken away, my free will, and ..., and my parents are gone" she began to tear up.

I hated to see her cry and sad. She rarely smiles but when she does it is like heaven on earth. She will never be happy here. "They're not dead" I blurted out. Tara stop crying and stared at me in shock. I grabbed her small hand in mine and took her to the bathroom. I closed the door softly and turned on the faucet. The water ran loudly as I explain to Tara.

"Klaus didn't kill them. There locked in our cellar. They've been getting fed and taken care of". Tara held my shoulder weeping. "Please, let me see them" she begged. "I have a plan if you agree to it. I can help you escape with your parents".

"How"?
