Klaus POV
I let the vampires have the owner of the gas station. Standing outside of the gas station looking at the dump. I could sense she was here. Tara wouldn't like me killing people but she didn't honor her promise of not leaving me.

"Sir we found there is an airstrip near here but it's round down and no one uses it". "Get in the car. Knowing Elijah, that is exactly where he would go" I growled. I drove speeding like a demon to get to that airstrip. When I got out of the car I could hear shooting. These idiots.

I rushed through the bushes finally getting two where some of the men were shooting at the plane I punched one of them in the face grabbing their gun. "Stop shooting. They're gone" I sighed.

Tara POV
Elijah had been driving for two hours. We passed many beautiful houses and passes the city. We were in a country where houses were less seen together. Finally, we had pulled off the main road heading down a steep ruble path.

The car shook from the ruff path. Klaus had gone down the long road that had thick green trees on either side. White thick snow lay on the side of the road. The car came to a halt as a big black gate stood in front of us. "I will just be a minute" Elijah glanced at me.

The door opened and I could feel the gush of cold air flow into the car. My body shivered watching Elijah open the gate. He pushed both sides of the gate apart and then rushed back into the car. We were on our way and continued going on the long road.

Driving up I could start to see a house in the distance. There was a mixture of woods and pasture. We parked a few steps away from the house. As we all got out I was in awe of everything. It was a two-story luxury lodge cabin. There was a patio on the second story that on either side were swings. On the first floor, I could see a rap around the porch around the house that held benches to sit on.

The exterior had wood-like panels and large windows. The roof had an olive green to it and stone on the sides. There seemed to be a connected second-story pathway to a smaller townhouse that was dark brown.

"It's beautiful" I whispered. I could feel Elijah's strong gaze on me which made me flustered. "Why don't we head inside" Elijah spoke taking my hand. My parents followed behind me looking at every inch of the place. Elijah helped me up the stairs leading into the house.

Once he opened the door I could feel the heat welcoming me in. There were jasper oak floors that added to the modern country setting. The walls were painted a gray color and there was a black Chandeliers. There were pictures of different people on the wall who all looked like they were glaring at me.

There was a staircase along the side of the walls that had a light gray color carpet on it. Two open doors were going left and right. Besides the staircase, there was a dark hallway.
"Why is it so warm here with no lights" I questioned. "I can feel magic in here" my mother stood defensively.

"Not worry. I had one of the witches I know come and put out a spell. I didn't want Tara to be cold" Elijah said turning away and walking into the door to the left. I followed him to see a Modularone gray 8pc sectional. On the wall in front of it was a deer head handing on a mantle. Below it was a large flat screen tv.

Still looking around I didn't notice Elijah messing with a black box inside the wall. The lights flickered on which made the room much brighter which I wasn't used to. "How about I let you all rest" Elijah spoke glancing at my parents and me.

"I think it will be better if we stay with our daughter," my father said flatly. Elijah looks to be about to say something but my mother cut him off. "Why don't you and Elijah go get some firewood? This house won't stay warm for too long with that spell. I saw an ax in the stump near the side of the house. I will stay here with Tara" my mother patted my dad's chest.

With a huff in a scowl, my father left with Elijah. My mother sat down on the couch holding my hand. She started at me tilting her head and getting a good look at me. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to do more. I tried getting you back through ways... I rather not speak on it. Let's just say it took me down a dark path" My mom looked down at her lap.

She coughs trying to stop from tearing up. "I wanted you to fight. You tried killing yourself" she began to sob. "I couldn't deal with it anymore Mother. I felt like I had no control over anything. He forced me to marry. Forces me to have sex with him. My body likes it and my mind wasn't my own" I sobbed.

"The girl who forgot her memories was a different person from me. What makes things worse is that likes me that way. The person I am right now I hate. I feel like I have become this darkness and it makes my heart feel. Feel" I stuttered. My mother grasped my hands "You are still you when even though you forgot your memories. It's okay for you have enjoyed some things. Over time you will forget about all the horrible memories and replace them with new ones" my mother smiled sadly.

My mother wiped my tears holding my cheek "Now. The question is do you want this child".
