Secrets. (Asa Butterfield Sequel to 'Changes')

a/n: so i decided not to quit writing secrets :-) yayy

Asa and I made our way downstairs. I had started to feel a bit queasy, but I shrugged it off and took deep breaths, hoping I didn't embarrass myself and throw up everywhere.

"Okay Gem.. Are you sure you want-- hey, you look terrible."

I gave Asa a look. "Gee, thanks a lot!" Sighing, I turned around and crossed my arms. Deep down I knew he didn't mean any harm, he was probably just remarking on the fact I looked pale or something.

"I didn't mean it in a bad way! You just look like you're going to be sick any second." Asa wrapped his arms around me from behind pulling me into his chest. I smiled just a little.

"You could have worded it better."

Asa just shook his head and smirked a little. "But seriously, are you okay--" I had to cut him off by running upstairs to the bathroom and throwing up.. Nothing basically. I hadn't had anything that morning so it was just saliva and all this other horrible stuff.

I heard Asa's footsteps behind me. He walked into the bathroom and rubbed my back gently, with a worried look on his face.

I gagged and muttered, "It's.. It's okay, just morning sickness."

Asa breathed out with relief, "See, I knew it was something like that but I just couldn't help myself worrying."

I made another horrible gagging noise, but this time nothing came up. It was weird, I felt sick but nothing was happening. "Seriously, I hate this feeling. You know what, forget the breakfast. I just want some water."

I ripped some toilet paper off and wiped my mouth, coughing a little. Asa helped me stand up and he flushed the chain, as I gurgled some mouthwash.

I had a feeling that this was just the start of everything.

Asa rubbed my back and after a few minutes he gasped, looking down down at my stomach.

"What?! What is it, what's wrong?!" I looked down at myself, expecting to see something terrible.. But I was met with the sight of a teeny tiny little bump at the bottom of my tummy.
