Asa took a deep breath and he wrapped his arms around me. I could tell he was a bit nervous, on top of his excitement. I mean, I was too because anything could happen. I just wanted everything to to all right.

We walked to the car in silence and I got into the passenger seat, putting my seatbelt on carefully. As I did, I looked down at my little bump and smiled. Mommy and daddy get to hear you today. I thought, wondering if the baby could possibly pick it up. Probably not.

Asa started the engine, and with one of his hands on my knee, started to drive out of the garage.

"Excuse me mister, two hands on the wheel please! You know what almost happened last time, and currently I really don't want to risk anything happening to this child before it even has a chance to come into the world,"

Asa rolled his eyes and he chuckled. "No Ace, I'm being deadly serious right now."

He looked at me, "did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed today? Come on Gemma, cheer up! We get to see and hear our baby!"

I sighed and said, "I know, and I'm so happy about that but.. What if something goes wrong? You know what they said Ace," I gulped and looked down.

Asa took his hand off the wheel to put it on my knee again, this time to comfort me. He certainly put it back quick enough when I gave him a death glare.

"Everything will be fine Gemma, I know it will.."

Asa's POV

I didn't want to upset or make Gemma more scared than she already was, so I stayed quiet. Truth was, I was terrified.

I knew what the doctors had said about our baby. And it really did break my heart, but I had to be positive for Gem.

On the bright side, there was a strong possibility that the baby could come out perfectly fine, maybe a little earlier than normal baby's, but without any health problems.

I really hoped so.

Gemma's POV

We drove in silence the whole way to the ice cream parlor. I didn't even know if I actually wanted ice cream anymore, but I knew it was too early to head to the clinic. And Asa would probably have been pissed because I rushed him out the door to get an ice cream.

"What would you like Gem?"

I looked around at the many different flavors.. Hard decision, "Um, I'll just have the raspberry sorbet flavour please."

Asa nodded and he told the person my order, along with his. He'd just went for the chocolate flavor.

I crossed my arms and waited. Asa passed my ice cream over to me, and I giggled and took a little lick. Okay, so maybe the craving for ice cream was back.

After Asa had got his ice cream, we went and sat down outside at one of the little tables and chairs, as it was a nice enough day. I took long licks of my ice cream, it was delicious.

Asa was looking at me seductively, biting his lip. I looked around confused.

"What are you looking at me like that for?!" I said, giggling a little.

"You just look so hot licking that ice cream.. I'm imagining it's my--"

"Asa!! Don't be so frickin gross!" I laughed, covering my face.

"Well you're the one who asked," he smirked playfully and started licking his own ice cream.

Rolling my eyes I said, "baby really likes raspberry sorbet flavor," I could feel those little fluttering movements in my tummy.

Asa chuckled, "takes after her mummy then."

"Her?" I said, looking at Asa sideways. He nodded.

"I really think it'll be a little girl,"

"How can you possibly tell that? Do you have like, physic abilities or something?" I laughed at my own joke. It was really that funny but whatever.

"As I said, I just have a feeling. It may not be true but you never know." Asa shrugged.

I licked the rest of my ice cream up as did Asa, and finished my cone in about literally two seconds.

"Let's go!" I got up and hugged Asa tightly, burying my face into his chest. Cheesy, but I was so happy to call this boy mine.

He wrapped his arms around me just as tight, kissing my head. I giggled and pulled away from, still holding his hand.

We got into the car, and I turned the radio up a little. The clinic was about 20 minutes away.

"Hey Gem, remember that time you gave me a blowjob while I was driving?" He looked off into the distance, "good times."

I tutted and rolled my eyes, "and that was a very dangerous thing for me to do, what if we crashed or something?! Ugh, I was so stupid back then."

"What do you mean back then it was only a couple of months ago?"

I blushed a deep shade and shook my head, "shut up."

Asa laughed and he shook his head. We drove to the clinic, talking lots about when we first met.

"We got together only after like 3 hours of knowing each other," I laughed. "Who knew it would have lasted this long and I would end up falling pregnant with your baby."

Asa smiled shyly and he says, "remember that time I pushed up up against the wall and your picture frame dug into your back? I really thought you were moaning in pleasure too,"

I laughed. "Good times, good times,"

Asa pulled up at the clinic after precisely 15 minutes. Trembling a little, I got out of the car and gulped.

Oh God.
